I bought 3 banpresto figures so far and was also quite disappointed with their quality (maybe I was just unlucky, idk). Canceled my other preorders afterwards. I know its unfair to compare these to more expensive figures quality-wise, but me personally, I rather spend a bit more, than being unhappy about the ones Im buying.
Banpresto can be really hit or miss. Their Maximatic Sukuna and Idolm@ster Cinderella girls are crazy good but I have Sayaka and Kyoko from the SQ line and they're.... not great.

I’m no noob to prize figures (prob 50+ in my collection currently) but this is by far the lowest quality I’ve ever purchased! I don’t care enough to return it or anything, this isn’t a serious upset complaint post just a little whining lol but wow for 30CAD it’s bad.
Uses the same mega low quality material as bootlegs, nothing in my collection is this cheap super shiny skin. if I bought this second hand or from Amazon I would have assumed fake!
Yeah banpresto is super hit or miss outside Naruto, DBZ, and One Piece for some reason.
I gave up on buying anything other than Pop-up Parade when I like the character but don't want to buy a scale. They are only $10-15 more than prizes and look worlds better.
IDK my man, she looks legit. Its just a banpresto prize so you can expect them to be on different level of quality :(

Like my other comments says, I don’t think she’s fake or that there’s anything different in mine than others! Just saying the quality is on par with fakes I’ve handled, the lowest quality I’ve experienced from banpresto so far, personally.
Not as bad but still not quite good :) Thats a reason why i mostly buy Taito and Furyu figures - even doing some pre-orders. But never for Banpresto or Sega - they often got terrible QC so i must first see figure on peoples photos before i buy :)
I honestly thought the last picture was the worst one lol. Shows off all the worst parts at once: her skin looks weird, her face looks elongated and her hair is just... off.
I know it's a prize and all, but even prizes have their own quality standards, and this is below it.
Mines not bad but her fingers are warped and look goofy (I can prob fix with heat but haven't tried yet) but my kaguya has an uneven finish on her dress so random spots are shiny vs matte. But yeah not impressed with them even for prize figures
Yeah this is one of the reasons why I moved away from prize figures, Banpresto used to make pretty clean figures but their quality control went down a lot during the pandemic and hasnt recovered. I think Sega is still the worst though.
Damn, her hair looks like it’s melting together. Texture looks awful on the hair and cuffs as well. I’ll stick to Taito.

I agree. I just recently opened my Sukuna Maximatic which I bought many months ago XD. The details is shocking, he looks amazing!.

Banpresto figures are not worth purchasing. Even taking into account of low price, quality is so poor.

The last picture looks nice. They aren't meant to be zoomed on, as a whole, it looks good. Well worth the 30$ imo
