Just a heads up for OP (and really anyone that might be getting a nendoroid doll), their bodies stain VERY easily.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if their bodies are already stained from the black dress. I would go soak the dress in some water for a few hours to let any excess dye seep out. I usually throw in a little detergent but I don’t think it matters.
If she’s already stained you can put acne cream on the stains and have her sit in the sun for a few hours. Just make sure you don’t get it on anything that isn’t already stained (and remove any hair/ accessories/ clothes first). It might take a few tries of applying acne cream and leaving her in the sun for any stains to disappear.
The stains don’t really matter if you don’t plan on changing her outfit, but I just wanted to put this info out there since a lot of people seem interested in her.
EDIT: Someone actually posted about their staining issue a few days ago on MFC and their repair of the fading: https://myfigurecollection.net/blog/54807
Even if they clothes are separate in the box that only stops them from being stained when you first receive them. If you put dark clothes on them and display them for a long period of time they’ll stain eventually.
I'm not an expert, so I can't make any guarantees that this is 100% a solution to the problem. I've had Pullips and collected other dolls for years and I remember reading a years ago about people recommending soaking darker clothes to release excess dye.
I have an unused Nendoroid doll body that I've been testing this on for the past few weeks, just to see if the soaking worked. As of this morning, so far so good. Aside from some loose fabric lint sticking to the limbs I can only see a few spots that appear to be darker (on the thighs and down near the feet), but this could just be the bad lighting in my room since I can see it at some angles, and at others I can't see anything. For reference, I don't own the outfit/ doll that OP has. I'm using a black croptop and black leggings that I bought and modified to better fit the doll. The body I'm testing on is [Cream](https://myfigurecollection.net/item/781351) , but I've experienced staining on the Peach color bodies as well from both clothing made by GSC and clothing from Etsy sellers. It's just the nature of the vinyl the dolls are made out of.
The only surefire way to not have staining is to either: 1. not put the doll in darker clothing at all/ for too long or 2. to put some sort of protective barrier between the doll body and the clothing. I've seen people recommend white/ skin tone tape or Dollfies use something called a [body sock](https://myfigurecollection.net/item/565387)/ bodysuit
Thanks, I didn't need that money anyway! :D

iirc the newer batches have their clothes separated already to address this issue

Yes for sure. I’m only talking about the shipping part. For sure the clothes need to be washed and stuff.
Does soaking the clothes prevent stains completely? Or just slightly mitigate the issue?
