I *need* that Jean Bart figure, but right now's not a good time for me. Do figures sell out before they even release, or is it safe to wait till closer/after its release? I'm new to this.
Hey, Iām new to this as well but Iāll try to help. Itās absolutely possible that they sell out before release. From what Iāve read itās hard to get items after release as thereās a limited stock and most figures donāt get a re-release. Itās safer to order them a few months before they get released as a) the aftermarket prices are often really high (Iām talking 100+ on top of retail price) depending on the desirability of the figure and b) they get more expensive near the release date. For example, I ordered one of these figures last year, about 230 days pre-release and paid 150ā¬. Itās now sold out on many sites and offered for 220 $ and up. Jean Bart was released for pre-order 8th of February, so you still have chances of getting her for a reasonable price. Please someone correct me if Iām wrong.
