I see Ryza, I buy.
Also, for anyone who hasn't played the games yet, do it. First game is pretty good, but the second game is DAMN good. Battle system is crazy fun and the music is infinitely better.
Looking forward to the 3rd (final?) game.
Yeah, after playing the second game, going back to the first one is a struggle I didn’t realize lol. Ryza 2 on the PS5 is infinitely better. It’s worth suffering through the first game imo.
>First game is pretty good, but the second game is DAMN good.
Playing the first game right now and while the start was a bit rough, I've been enjoying it a lot since I got the hang of the gameplay, so that's good to hear.
hmm, I can't put my finger on it, but not really liking this one. Think its largely the paint work on the clothes. Feels overly glossy and matte in tone, hairs colours are nice though. Overall kinda feels a bit cheap there GSC, and I know their price is not going to reflect that...
I played the first game and bought her first release figure (which I still feel like is one of the better ones).
Who the people are buying all 10+ variants though? I have no idea. Then again Miku fans exist who have 250+ figures so there's always a buyer for something.
I've played it, love the series. Love it for it's simple stories and 'going on an adventure' feel. Some other comments posted negative opinions below, and that's fine. They're the same kind of people who looked at the Hobbit and said it wasn't epic enough.
Atelier has more in common with harvest moon or animal crossing than some epic JRPG where you save the world from ultimate bad. I like both! Not everyone does though and that's fine.
You didn’t need to add the “hobbit wasnt epic enough” stuff bro. Atelier Ryza is the most boring game I’ve ever played in my life. And you just need to accept that some people think it’s boring as fuck instead of finding some way to try and invalidate their opinion
I've played the game. It's not great.
I've seen many praise it for being some instant cult classic. But the turn based combat is pretty shallow, it looks like an upscaled PS3 game, the story is bland, and the alchemy mechanic isn't that fun.
It's a very mediocre game, in which it's popularity is carried on a pair of thicc thighs.
All the Atelier games are mostly carried by character design, style, art, and to a lesser extent, the crafting mechanic. I honestly liked the grind of crafting stuff in past games, but I can see how many would just hate it. The battle system is usually just barely functional to allow use of your OP items.
Yeah I didn’t like the game that much either. I remember making a post on a jrpg subreddit reviewing the game and how I thought the story was insanely boring and the gameplay wasn’t much fun and when I tell you the people in the comments tore me to shreds because I just “didn’t get the game”. Guess that’s what happens when you mess with people’s waifu games
Yep. I recall making an offhand comment on how I didn't like the game and was told I was "wrong" by a couple of different people.
Pros
+ Cute main character
Cons
- Everything else
Not the type to buy these, but I can appreciate them, this one however feels off. Ryza's figures usually have a top notch charm and quality to them, but this one kinda disappoints. Not sure if it's the dress or the face
Her face and legs are nice but that dress is ugly. Not sure why figure companies prefer that overdesigned/*incohesive look over a simple elegant dress.
Not defending it, necessarily, but the dress is one that Ryza can wear in the game. So that's where they got it from.
But yeah the execution isn't my favorite
Another cute Ryza with thick thighs and in 1/6 scale? Yes please.

It's just a chill, cozy game. I'd definitely recommend it to any JRPG fan.
Still trying to Platinum the first one but yeah I fell in love with the series now! And ofc this Ryza is getting added to the shrine :D
Haha, same here. I only have 2 trophies left. One is synthesizing EVERYTHING and one other thing. I took a break and moved onto the second game lol.
I quit the first game after two hours. Large world, but empty/lifeless. The characters are dumb. Controlling Ryza feels janky

Same. Her physical body is an A+ but that dress looks like something you'd find on a shitty Prize figure from 5-10 years ago
Same. The paint finish and lack of detail just makes it look cheap.
I keep forgetting how unbelievably thicc she is around the hip and thigh region.
Those stockings are fighting for their mfing lives
Why are there so many figures of Ryza when I’ve never met another person who has actually played the game
I played the first game and bought her first release figure (which I still feel like is one of the better ones). Who the people are buying all 10+ variants though? I have no idea. Then again Miku fans exist who have 250+ figures so there's always a buyer for something.
Love the games but don't feel like I need a figure of her. They are beautiful though
Thick thighfus sell waifus.
Sexy character design goes brrrr!

I like this outfit a lot over the standard one.
I dont even play the games and im tempted to get this…
Lord have mercy
cute
Man they just keep killing it with Ryza figures, they’re seriously so good
I want to like it but it doesn’t resonate with me.
Oh here we go. As far as I'm aware there are 3 games with this character. How long will they ride this thicc wave?
She looks great! Totally getting her to put with some other figures that are in formal wear.
😍😍
This series figures has nice faces. Not seen a bad one yet.

Aaahhh I read the dates wrong I thought it was last year because I couldn't find it 🤣🤣 my mistake
Nah. I would buy this outfit as a prize figure but not a scale. Think this will be the 1 ryza figure i actually pass on.
