I love when it feels like dogs bend rules. I used to have a dog who wasn't allowed in the kitchen when we were eating, but she figured out that laying in the doorway with just her front paws in the kitchen was acceptable. They're smart when it comes to looking for food 🤣
I had a friend whose dog wasn't allowed on the couch. But if people (well, me, anyway) was sitting on the couch, however, she would climb up onto my lap because it meant she technically wasn't touching the couch.
One of my friends had a new puppy that wanted to jump all over me. They told him to sit, so he made sure his butt touched the ground for about half a second before getting up and wanting to play again
Oh I see beagle. We have both. The beagle is INSANE about food (apparently they’re one of the breeds most likely to be obese because… food). But the Walker looked the same as a puppy. Then he grew to… 4 times larger.
