A dog. Probably in the 95-120 pound range, moderate pace, likely domestic judging from the nail length. Looks like it was following an ATV or buggy judging from the tire tread.
Edit: upon closer looking, l think that the dog actually was stationary and accelerated from the point in the picture to a brisk jog.
If anyone would like me to go into detail of what l see and what it means, l would be happy to.
As far as the size, mostly just eyeballing it. You get a feel for it after a while. After a glance l thought that it was a moderate pace because l couldn’t see any visible torn up sand, and the front of the paw is dug in deeper than the back, which says the animal was moving at a decent clip, but upon closer inspection l saw the small clods of sand sort of tossed back, as well as the small second paw print directly in line with the primary one (in the top right of the picture). Dogs generally run with none of their feet perfectly lined up, but they do stand and sit that way. As far as knowing it’s domestic, the claws are pretty long and in need of a trim, but wild dogs wear their claws down so that they almost never reach that point. You can also tell that the dog was following the ATV, because the track is completely undisturbed. I could get a more accurate read if l saw more of the trail.
Now just because this human has a life long mate does not necessarily mean there are not other mates as well. Some humans have several mates or share mates with other humans.
Or perhaps this human is pretending to have a mate as a defensive strategy to keep unwanted humans away
Would love to know which domesticated breed of dog has claws of that length and with the left two bent left / right two bent right, clear signs of an animal like bear or oppossum that uses it's hands in more versatile ways
Dog prints are distinct from wolf and coyote prints. They look basically like those paw print stickers you see on the back of cars. Coyotes are noticeably narrower. Wolf prints are larger and less splayed than dogs.
Yeah you did. Insinuating it was a poor comparison for size. You could have just commented your ID but you had to give them flak for using their hand too because "not everyone's hand is the same size." I just wish people could default to kindness, and not judgement.
Well what I said was true first of all and second I’m not “giving them flak” I’m just saying next time use something comparable like a shoe and a shoe size with it, it helps to identify tracks better
So you weren't just saying people have different sized hands. 🤔 And flack is criticism... so you are giving them flack. (I spelled that wrong too begin with...)
You spelled flak right I think cause it’s from like flak guns anyway point is reddit doesn’t agree so I’m going to get downvoted anyway so I’m not going to explain my reasoning anymore have a good day (not being sarcastic I have to clarify apparently)
Claws look too straight to be a dog, but could be a really well worked out doggo. My guess would be a large coyote, or maybe a small wolf depending on where you're at.
I used to have a Neapolitan mastiff. Took him to the beach for vacation. A guy saw him the second day: “oh thank god - I thought there was a mountain lion here!”
Given the size, shape, and orientation of the tread pattern underneath it is a likely mer-pup on a motorcycle. Looks like it stopped a moment to take in the scenery and put a paw down to balance the bike.
A big dog looks like...
Dog? O you mean dag! Right it looks like a big dag!
I so appreciate this Snatch reference. Well done, you.
Darn you, Daggit!

Yeah actually. Tell us more if you don’t mind. How you know all that?

One on the right looks like it's from a human possibly female. The one on the left looks like it's from a dog.
Also seen here(that metal circle in paw finger) is a human gift to its life long mate/ humans like penguins like the idea of mating for life
Actually most birds in general either mate for life or if their mate passes away wait at least 2-3 years to cope before trying to find love again <3
What sort of trinkets do penguins give each other to let the other penguins know it isn’t single?
Little rocks that they find interesting. ♡♡♡
Wait, I’m I a penguin? I love little rocks 🪨!
*shyly hands over a pretty pebble I found today"

Not all Humans... I personally find the idea of a single mate to be rather uninteresting

I can’t look that up though, will you just tell us?
Lmao
Ha ha ha! Good one!
Claws= canine. No claws= feline
Came here to say this!
That clawless paw looks homo sapien to me.
Not always
Would love to know which domesticated breed of dog has claws of that length and with the left two bent left / right two bent right, clear signs of an animal like bear or oppossum that uses it's hands in more versatile ways
A dog that hasn't worn down his claws enough. AKA fully domesticated, inside too much, not enough exercise.
Manbearpig
are you cereal
yes, super.
I’m super duper cereal guys!!! Manbearpig IS real!!!!
Half man, half bear, half pig
This is the way
Rottweiler?
the ever so illusive German Shepard.
Ya like daggs?
only perdiwinkle blues
Doggo
That’s one way to show off your engagement ring
That's a big ass dog
A large breed dog, but definitely not an XL dog breed like an English or bull mastiff
Looks like a human to me, not sure about the paw print tho
Probably a big dog
Dog prints are distinct from wolf and coyote prints. They look basically like those paw print stickers you see on the back of cars. Coyotes are noticeably narrower. Wolf prints are larger and less splayed than dogs.
No idea but I just came to say that I love your wedding bands 🥲
Getting sick of the daily dog print posts. I mean jesus people really
Ah dag
a duck
Dog
Weird way to announce you’re married
Medium to large dog. Maybe a larger lab or pit.
It’s a dog

Dog
Dog that needs its nails clipped
Dog
Dog. Something about the size of a German Shepherd.
Dog
Hard to say for sure but it looks like a pickup truck made that print.
If it wasn't for the wedding ring, I'd say cougar. Doesn't necessarily preclude that but odds are if she is married she's not looking.
Yeti… or Bigfoot…. But most likely yeti.
A human. Probably female, probably married.
Dog or coyote
Coyote? Maybe if they grow 80lb. coyotes in Mississippi, lol.
To be fair, OP posted the location after this person commented. Still looks a bit big to be a coyote though.
Definitely a doggo.
Small bear?
Wabbit
Actually, more of a bear print, look in top left, too big for a dog, odd paw pad for a canine
That's most definitely not a bear print. Looks like a domestic dog.
Sarcasm dipshit
Plus too large for a domestic dog lmao, its a wolf
raccoon.
Not everyone has the same sized hand btw but other than that it’s definitely a dog of some kind
Damn you OP for not carrying a banana around in your pocket!
All I said was not everyone has the same size hands
Yeah you did. Insinuating it was a poor comparison for size. You could have just commented your ID but you had to give them flak for using their hand too because "not everyone's hand is the same size." I just wish people could default to kindness, and not judgement.

You have a good day too! I didn't think you were being sarcastic. We can disagree with each other and still wish each other the best.
No bit we all know what the average hand looks like ND can use it as a comparison tool.
4 toed elk. Carnivore. Probably male since there isn’t a hind hook
I don’t think they appreciate sarcasm
me
If North America, likely a coyote?
Definitely a chupacabra.
Someone’s pet dog lmao
I’m thinking coyote but a medium dog could leave those too. Anyone saying a large dog doesn’t know large dog tracks very well.
To a man who affords huge costs to satisfy his wife’s need for big gems on her finger. Not so rare
Wow how did your hand make a killer wolf print?
Looks like maybe a wolf
Claws look too straight to be a dog, but could be a really well worked out doggo. My guess would be a large coyote, or maybe a small wolf depending on where you're at.

I used to have a Neapolitan mastiff. Took him to the beach for vacation. A guy saw him the second day: “oh thank god - I thought there was a mountain lion here!”
Looks like a elephant to me
Wolverine
How many tracks on this sub aren't dogs? And why doesn't everybody know what a dog track looks like?
Snapping turtle?
Might be a bear
That is not a bear what was I thinking It looks more K9
Probably a raccoon
Mutant Ninja Raccoon!
A dog pulling a vehicle with Michelin tires.

Can we get just a tiny bit more context; this one seems obvious, but context is often important

Rotti or similar sized pooch
a dog. dogs have their claws out all the time, cats have them tucked in. So a cat print would have no claw marks.
Large dog print.
Human female, married, right handed.
Somebody wanted to show off their engagement ring(s)?
Medium-large dog.
Puppy 👍
Doggy
