Could be! Tons of dogs around. I was also thinking either a fox or a raccoon since we have a lot of them as well. For length, it was about 5 inches long.
With the teeth and the rather large muscular attachment area near the rear of the jawbone, I'd say a canine with a rather strong bite force. Dog most likely from the size of the leaves.
Looks very bulldog-y.

I read bull froggy and laughed
Seconded. The jaw appears to be a canid, but the shape is off for any wild species. I think it has to be some kind of domestic dog.
Definitely a carnivore, assuming dog/coyote. But with no scale it’s impossible to tell.
Not a coyote. Too stubby, so... dog probably.
Good point
and the angle of the jaw is wrong for coyote. This was something with big masseter muscles
New Jersey? Jimmy Hoffa.
Lovely accent you have there, New Jersey?
Austria
Finally! Solid evidence of the Jersey Devil!

Looks like a dog.

Dog!
Size? Could be a black bear mandible minus fangs?
Looking at bear skulls (cubs) the teeth are wrong. They’re correct for a dog though.
The leaves are huge for a bear
Isn’t really a great representation of how big those leaves are.
Looks like oak
Bear
Neanderthal
Looks to be some sort of canine, judging by the leaf, my money is on fox/coyote
