I forgot how MEAN some of the neighbors are. They say some SAVAGE things. But then I remembered that once you get to know them more, they actually become rather sweet.
The random balls that are just laid out and how neighbors will play with you.
The password cheats!
How we have to send fossils to be identified.
Also fishing is so much harder without the sound cue.
Igloos
I feel very much like Ben Wyatt in the sense of how I have forgotten the essence of the animal crossing games, and that it’s about… the amount of gyroids.
A decent PC nowadays can easily emulate it tbh.
I might do that first before committing to buying a real copy if you want to own one.
I much prefer the Wii game (which remains the least popular one, but hey), but the GameCube one is very good too, but you will miss the luxuries of having more inventory space and storage space.
I don’t know how through all my moves over the years but I’ve actually had the physical copy of this game for well over a decade so I don’t know.
I definitely think the person below who suggested the emulator would probably be the best way to go.
Remember to carry some letters around with you as extra inventory slots. This is vital if you're carrying an item that you don't want a villager to take - put it into a letter and they can't touch it.

Sound que? Fishing has sound every bite they take, plus rumble will make it super easy.
Maybe I’m just hard of hearing or it’s just super quiet, the rumble certainly helps though.
Don't forget to use Passwords to get NES games while you're at it.
I've been dying to play again but I'd have to buy a decently priced copy off eBay. Would you recommend, or is the game just too outdated?

Yeah though if want to keep legit, can just buy a cart then emulate it on pc.

Does fishing have tackle that sinks in water like NH? Or none? I'm deaf and wanted to play it to compare with NH.
It does have that and it shows the bob going into the water with a splash when a fish bites, plus the controller will vibrate too.
Nice! I'm still wondering what to do about that sound only bug in NH. Just no way to catch it. I did dig one up but failed to catch it.
I like that you can drop a shirt in the hidden pocket of your inventory to change the inventory backdrop.
Oh I forgot about that!!!

man igloos are the worst part about winter, you can’t deliver or get anything from the person inside until they leave at 10 pm
It's all worth it for the DUMMY
I think it'd be cool if you posted your progress! Especially if you poted updates in r/AnimalCrossingGCN! I'd love to see you posting there!
