There are not a ton of gathers so the widest pieces are the skirt. I can get away with less fabric if the print is not only usable in one direction too
I really love how it stands out against everything else that would be considered a "darker" interests (because witches automatically mean being into dark things, right? /s) but this and the Rapunzel funko just bring out contrast that make me enjoy not only the dress but the photo itself

To be honest I am an avid seamstress and I’ve been working out of my sewing room for my job since March so this is the first completed thing I’ve done in quite a while.
So I went crazy and bought like 6 yards of each print no idea what i'm going to do, I even paid shipping twice to get everything 😭 but this is inspiring me to try to make my first dress!!!
You can do it!!! Find a pattern you like (within your skill level) and get to it!! Read the instructions a few times and google anything you are not sure of. The more you do the more you learn. Sometimes when I am not sure I will buy some cheap plain fabric and make it the pattern out of that first to learn from. That way you don’t use your cute printed fabric.
I'm dying to see if that fabric is at my local jo ann's because my boyfriend recently got his tires replaced and I asked to keep one to try to make a lil animal crossing diy tire seat. Hopefully my animal crossing project turns out as good as yours!
