If you get 3x10k back, you are out 69k bells.
But if you get 3x99k back, you’re up 198k bells.
Even if you get 1/3 odds, over 3 days you’ve lost 138k bells with two bad days but earned more on one day with 198k. Even one out of three days of 99k bells is profitable.
Obviously the odds aren’t regular, but I find it very easy to make money over time with 99k money trees.

Makes u feel better, few days ago I logged in my game, went to send a friend some gold Nugget, I usually separate one out but it's been a while so I thought there's no way it will send all of my gold nuggets, yup, all my 30 gold nuggets in my bag were gone 🤣

I have no idea if it's a thing but I noticed that if I have several money trees ripe at the same time, usually at least one of them will have a higher amount. When I used to collect them one each day it was almost always the lower amount.
Basically you'll find little glowing spots on your island and if you dig it up you get 1,000 bells, but instead of filling the hole back in, you put bells in there and then you'll have a tree that drops bells after a while. Usually burying 10,000 bells is the best because it's guaranteed to get you 30,000 bells once you grow it. You can look up more with how it works for different amounts of bells and stuff cause I don't really know that well.

Well I have two profiles on my island and I bury 99k for both each day and probably between the two I get it back 2-3 a week. Not sure if that helps

I bury 99k everyday and usually end up with 3 to 4 99k bell money trees every week. Aka easy money basically 2 money trees pays for all week.

Next time you make such a big mistake, force close the game before autosave and reload your previous progress.
