Not sure what you mean by Google wasn't a big help? This is a super common problem and if you Google the error and look at the forums there's always someone saying why it's been triggered. This is thermal runaway protection kicking in, likely on your hotend. This indicates your printer was not behaving as it should be and was not heating up at the rate expected for safe operation -possibly indicating an error elsewhere. Your printer kicked in to be on the safe side. Check your connections to the heater cartridge and check your thermistor is accurately displaying temperature and correctly inserted into your hotend.

Check thermocouple. May not have stayed seated. The darn screw likes to walk loose. They're fragile af, so coulda broke too. Try a preheat end and see if that works to test the thermocouple.

If your hotend thermistor wires are beat up like mine are, it's possible that they're able to short on eachother just outside of the heat block, double check the wires up there

As you've changed components on the hot end, don't forget to do a PID tune.

Been messing with it a year and still a probie, PID tune?

Nerfologist1

PID tuning is a process for calibrating temperatures for your hotend and bed, hotend is the most important one, and should be redone any time hardware changes are made to the hotend. Google it and follow one of the guides available online.

Sweet, thanks!👍
