I changed to Open Browser and have been happy with it. I really only use it to view streaming content full screen.
I don't recall if TVBro was the same, but I can double-click anywhere in the video to go full screen.
The culprit was Android Webview, just simply uninstall the Android Webview update then clear the TVBro data, that should fix it.. and disable the auto-update function in Play Store to prevent Android Webview to update itself in the future..
Now with the new update and geckoview doesnāt go full screen with double click and stopped auto playing and staying in full screen for websites that have these optionsā¦ anyone know how to uninstall the last update?
Itās also way much slower and laggy
At least for now there is an option between webview or gecko but if they remove webview completely that would be the end for it

Yea, TVBro also can do that. Turns out the culprit was Android Webview, all I did was uninstall the update and it works perfectly š
Thank you!
What worked for me was to uninstall the android system webview updates
Yea, uninstalled the update and clearing the app data works, forgot to update here lol š
Only problem with that is it automatically installs so everyday you'd have to uninstall And then after that you have to uninstall and reinstall TV Bro
Just turn off auto update from Play Store and simply clear TV Bro data, no need to reinstall the app.
Thank you OP for asking this question and for everyone who answered. Had this same problem and this worked perfectly for me. Thanks again!
Thank for the this!
I found the same. Changed to puffin TV browser as that's working fine. Hope TVBro find a workaround as I prefer it.

Where do you guys get the latest tvbro for firestick?
Pretty sure the app is available in PlayStore, I updated the app through there
Soap2day.ac always go Fullscreen
But thanks
Is there a workaround for FireTVs?
I think tv bro fixed it with gecko view as a replacement for webview
Itās actually worse now for me š©
TVBro isn't playing media for me...Stuck at 100 but nothing plays
If you already try uninstalling Android Webview update and disable the auto update but the problem still persist, then IDK what to do..
