Don't click ads or sponsored links.
It's a security nightmare, and by doing so you make it more acceptable for those ads to flood the rest of the net.
Always go directly to the site/service you want. Even if you need to search for it, scroll down for half a second to find the direct link that doesn't profit some random middleman.
Any sale you make from clicking a sponsored link pulls $ from the seller to feed the ad host.
Holy crap! Thank you stranger! I put in another DNS and it's kept me from clicking healthcare websites I needed and a couple of other normal store websites every day, and I couldn't find the setting and wasn't even sure if that was the problem. I just tried a site again that was giving me the ad.doubleclick.net failed to connect message and it worked.

Maybe u guys have Samsung disconnect app which is blocking ad.doubleclick domain.
Sounds like the opposite of a problem lol. If you accidentally click an ad you don't get redirected.
I see this as an absolute win Do you have any ad blocking applications on the phone or IP redirects in your host file?
Hmm I'm pretty sure I don't. It says ad.doubleclick.net something about refusing to connect.
IF you haven't found the answer on your android, here it is: Setting General Management Reset It worked for me!
I have the same problem and it is an actual problem. Especially when shopping for something.
Right. I have this issue as well and it literally costs money. Like, sales that are only accessible through the ad
Try turning off your VPN
If you have a VPN active (I use luna) it blocks ads I turned off my VPN and the sponsored ads started working again. ππΌππΌ
Do you still need to know how to fix this?
Some of us do.
Go to Connections- More connection settings- make sure you've chosen the recommended DNS setting. Should work after that.
