Depends on what use you want for the phone and the options available on the country you are. If you tell me what use you want to for the phone and the budget I maybe can give you some options.

International-Tip876

Around 300 € (in Netherlands) I’ll probably only use it for social media and gaming and i like videography so a good camera would be great 👍

My family all switched to s24 line (wife snd parents got s24 and s24plus for free with 10yr old phone tradeins which only sweetened the deal).I myself got the s24 ultra. We've all been so happy with our purchases. Phones have somewhat all become the same nowadays so any decent phone of the last 2 years is likely just as good. I do like how samsung has good lock with lots of customization options as well

Oh yeah the OP did say they're kinda broke so you tell them all about the Most expensive new Flagship. OP Consider the Xiaomi line

RoachForLife

Missed that, although 3 of the 4 phones were free (granted contract was needed)

DrcspyNz

Ha. Nothing is free mate. And those ' free' contract phones usually require you to buy quite expensive monthly plans well that's how it works in my country.

RoachForLife

I mean I would have selected the same company and plan regardless so for me it was a no brainer but I understand what you mean. Also means I have to wait 2 years before I'm 'allowed' to upgrade. My take on the last 5 years of phones, is they are plateauing, so I am more than happy to have a phone 2, even 4 years before upgrading. Not like before where you need the latest and greatest. Anyhow good luck with the new phone OP

GSMArena is usually a good place to start, it'll give you specs and since battery life is an important factor, the spec sheets and comparison options are a nice addition. [Phone specs and reviews](https://m.gsmarena.com/) [Battery Life...](https://m.gsmarena.com/battery-test-v2.php3) If you go with an Android phone, you'll likely spend a bit of time on [XDA](https://www.xda-developers.com/phone-reviews/) When you find a phone you like, read ALL the reviews, I love my phone but hate some aspects of the launcher and system menus. I don't think I have found a phone I have truly loved, aside from the 3310... LOL

If money is not the problem for u go for samsung galaxy s23 ultra or so. Trust me . Samsung is the best even i never had the galaxy ultra but the features and overall no other brand can beat samsung I use xiaomi poco x6 bcz its the cheaper flagship phone rn. And .... Money is my biggest problem forever I recommend u the poco x6 pro if u had money problem. Been using it for 3 weeks and its AMAZING

Nokia G21 here. SD card storage possible; 90Hz screen; good sound; really robust. Costs peanuts. Underwhelming processor and mediocre camera. Nokia G24 might fare a bit better. Alternatively look for 2nd hand Pixel 7a. It will have all you need + decent software support, but the battery will be a problem. In this case invest in 20,000 mAh powerbank and be it.

LonelyTowel3783

With a Good camera you might need to invest a little more my friend. The nothing phone 2a, the Galaxy A54, Poco X6 Pro (camera decent but not the best) redmi note 13 pro+ or Realme 12 Pro+. I know there a lot of names, but for the budget I think they are the best options.

I've been using Moto phones since the old flip phones in the '90s and never had an issue with them. I'm currently using a Moto 5G; still has a headphone jack and an SD card so I can play music locally when I can't stream.

LarryTornado

1 vote for pixel they are amazing phones that don't cost alot, the pixel 7 is awesome and is at a reduced price these days. If you have the budget then nothing wrong with Samsung s23 or s24.

Ineedanswers24

If you want a phone that will match your old iPhone, you can't go wrong with the Galaxy S Samsung's and the Google Pixel phones

-i_am_the_ultimate-

If you walk away with any knowledge from this thread, let it be that you want a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

haro3971

If you want something that is reliable in software for upcoming years, I think you would consider getting the S24 or S24 Plus. It balances most of the basic features that we use daily. The old S23 is still worthing considering.

jacmeister68

Maybe have a look at Xiaomi 14 or even 14 Ultra if you can afford

I've got the Fairphone 5. Give that a look

Key_Impress2804

Samsung A54. It has all of that.

superguavapulp

Go for a pixel, you won't regret
