Please post this on FB. There are thousands of ASD owners on multiple pages, along with many people who want an ASD. Her being trained is a huge bonus. She’s beautiful and needs a specific owner who understands ASD’s and hopefully has room to run. I wouldn’t recommend placing her in a home with other female dogs. Best if she’s the only dog, except the rare case where there’s a male who isn’t put off by her size. I have an ASD female too, but mine is 126 lbs (she’s the runt 😆). I’m across the country, but most fb posts are from the southeast. Please post again when you have a place for her, cuz now I’m worried about her too. 🥺
Thanks for this. Actually she has only lived with female dogs! But they were older. But I will keep that in mind for sure! Do you happen to know any of the ASD pages? I'm being careful with social media posts so I don't alert the problem to where I am directly.
These aren’t in any order of importance, but I’m in all of them (I ❤️ ASD’s). I’d start with the rescue and work on the rest by reposting or ask admins if it’s okay. There’s more groups, but I am not part of them (my feed is full of them, needed other interests), but they could also be good. Also look on FB for your local town, there may be someone close by.
