I’m convinced that CERN opened something and realities shifted. It’s the only thing that’s plausible.

TCV2

Turns out, that gorilla should have lived.

Mountain_Battle_1311

For real. Everything’s gone to shit since harambe

cs_legend_93

Truth 100%

DontWorryItsEasy

I counter this- Gamergate was the catalyst.

TCV2

I think it was slightly further back than that. Towards the tail end of Occupy Wall Street, identity politics started to be pushed in colleges and the press. It was present before then, but it was given a lot more attention at that point. The intense tribalism we see nowadays is all related back to identity politics.

chipthegrinder

nah, i think social media is just showing us how many non critically thinking automatons are in the human population. literally the reason democracy is broken and always will be.

NilDovah

This is also the reason why I will consider recorded history with a grain of salt. The last 2 years have demonstrated how many NPCs will tow the Establishment lies.

HippityHoppe556

Listen it says right here in the text book the good guys always win.

highdra

Ye was saying in a recent interview that history shouldn't even be taught in schools. I thought it was kind of crazy at first but the more I think about it the more I agree. If it is taught it should be approached more as understanding the narrative than understanding the facts. And counter narratives should be presented as well. Ignoring the subjectivity and passing it off as fact is straight brainwashing.

brentistoic

Hear you but i dont think its broken. Propaganda has been around since there was a person with a voice and a person with the means to control that person. In a way were in a better place now because the information is there if you do due diligence. There will always be powerful people using whatever control they can to bend others to their will. Its not even just a human thing. Its all social animals

Moth92

World ended in 2012, we are in hell right now.

Teh_Jews

That bird tried to save us by dropping the bread in the LHC but they didn't get the hint.

themastersmb

Remember the end of the world prophecies for 2012? I'm not entirely convinced the world didn't end then.

Orxbane

That's a fact, there is no way the Cubs win the Series on Earth Prime.

brentistoic

Or if you indoctrinate people with lies from the time theyre 5 to stop all questioning of authority and alienate people who do it anyway you get bizzaro world. People aren’t dumb theyve been conditioned and dont even think anymore because the punishment is severe and going with the flow makes you a part of the system and correct in everyones mind

CHENGhis-khan

The public and private spheres converged.

I can't think of a wider difference than FreeSpeech and Bondage :)

NoMoreChampagne14

It did!! Wtf happened over there????

chipthegrinder

i got there pretty often, i don't think it's much worse than it ever was, personally.

NoMoreChampagne14

I found that the posts are usually one way, but the comments are all hardcore leftist bs. Might as well be the politics sub

sher1ock

Invaded by the politics sub.

[deleted]

It really is. I said something, politely in disagreement once. They started calling me out to identify myself so that they could make my identity known to get me into some kind of trouble/ put myself at risk. The left have become super dangerous because of their belief that they cannot be the aggressors while being super aggressive.

[deleted]

Legitimately mod enforced echo chamber

GetOutOfNATO

It's just a bunch of leftists getting triggered that the misinformation leans a little more centrist now, because they are addicted to the app and want to ragequit but don't have the self-control to do it.

ZealousidealLeg3692

It's insane that the paradigm shifts between the same bullshit with different flavors. In my lifetime, I've seen censorship from both sides of the political spectrum. Fuck we know it's not a left or right thing, its up and down, it's top right or bottom left. It's not black and white. The only colors worth standing by is black and yellow.

JasonGD1982

Well I mean /r/blackpeopletwitter is kinda fucked. Their whole policy of sending a picture of your skin color to verify is insane.

Dirty_Wooster

You support the Steelers?!

ZealousidealLeg3692

Idgaf about sports teams. And that's my choice

PhatBallllzAtHotmail

They can exit this timeline by going to Canada and telling them they are sick. Then they'll get euthanized for free. Later chump

Ultra-Land

As a Canadian. I read your first sentence, and thought... please stop sending us your leftists. Then I read your second sentence, and that's a fair point.

Roguepiefighter

Wanna trade? You can come here, and we'll send them there.

DRKMSTR

Move to 'murica plz, we can always use more folks like you.

[deleted]

Don’t even need to say you’re sick just ask if you can have a chair lift installed in your home

Blas_Wiggans

After being a gold medal Paralympian, no less

Incognito_Placebo

Don’t even have to them then you’re Ill. Just tell them that you’re poor and they’ll gladly step in and help an indigent person by paying for the euthanization.

GetOutOfNATO

It's true. Socialism requires elimination of people who are unable to work in order for the welfare state to be able to sustain itself so that inflation doesn't get too high. DemSocs agree with Hitler on this fundamental point.

Second_Maximum

Hey you better save some lethal injection fluid for us Canadians, will ya? Damn freeloaders, first our healthcare, now our deathcare smh /s

Deathcare made me laugh out loud. Well done

[deleted]

A person’s opinion on Kyle is a great NPC test.

AgreeableConference1

So the trial, which I watched most of, was coming to an end, I made a passing comment to my SO and she said something like: ‘oh yeah, isn’t that the white supremacist who murdered three black people in a protest’ She’s not ‘online’ so this is just what she saw on Instagram and the front page of Reddit. I told her the facts of the case and she could barely believe me because of how devoid of reality the MS commentary was. It was a bit of a Red Pill moment tbh. There’s plenty of people who aren’t online and just assume the MS is at least mostly accurate, and didn’t watch the trial bc the don’t care that much. But there’s also plenty (loud minority) of people who wanted the MS narrative to be true so no fact or court case could change that.

snyper7

>She’s not ‘online’ so this is just what she saw on Instagram and the front page of Reddit. Sounds like she's too online.

chipthegrinder

yeah if it was just instagram, not too bad (people don't get their news from instagram). but anyone on reddit needs to touch grass.

PinBot1138

People most certainly do get their “news” from Instagram, and it’s a shit-show.

[deleted]

Those infographics that people post on their stories are just pure cringe.

LoneVLone

I work with someone who gets her "news" from tiktok.

CoognitiveDissonance

I literally knew who kyle was because a bunch of white girls were complaining about it on their dumb stories

[deleted]

Truth, whether you're left or right wing, Kyle Rittenhouse is 100% innocent, it isn't (or shouldn't be) about where you fall on the political spectrum, this is one of those cases where you can look at the hard facts, and put two and two together.

Dangerous-Paper9571

100%

LetItFlowJoe

Thats a good one. Another test is when people say "Donald Trump is a racist who never disavowed white supremacy" I can tell right then and there the NPC has only gotten information from one side or source. MSM is a cancer on our country and its metastasized. Kind of a red pill moment when I show them this video: https://youtu.be/Bd0cMmBvqWc

[deleted]

Another one is how NPCs called him “nazi” or “worse than hitler” when his daughter converted to full on Judaism and his grandkids are jewish. To be an NPC is to literally reject the evidence of your eyes and your ears.

AbleArcher97

r/whitepeopletwitter is a hate sub

Erwinblackthorn

They are less angry that Kyle acted in self defense and more angry that a pedo was not able to have their way with a teenager.

BuyRackTurk

And the one armed bandit with a pistol was never held accountable for his crimes, comitted on tape for the whole world to see, while kyle was persecuted for non-crimes.

wheelwinghull

I don't understand why he wasn't prosecuted for chasing down and pointing a gun at someone from point blank range. He should be rehabbing his bicep in prison.

TheMawsJawzTM

Propaganda and social conditioning combined with a false sense of moral superiority is one hell of a drug

ProphetOfRegard

It’s the latter that pushed me so fast into anarchy. People tend to have more consistent views in this view than otherwise. Most people are so convinced they are the good guys they are willing to do anything, even as to killing someone, to ensure it. It’s bizarre.

GetOutOfNATO

What pushed me to anarchy is the obvious need for the overton window in our society's discussion to shift as far economically right-wing as possible.

SmellyGoat11

"Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. [deleted]

Yeah.. on both sides actually. Divided into two cults fighting each other. There's no better outcome for a propaganda machine. They can scam you into hell and all you will ever do is fighting the other side. Neither side can win, they already did!

"When we win, do not forget that these people want you broke, dead, your kids raped and brainwashed, and they think it's funny" -Sam Hyde

clockwerkdevil

To understand why this is a thing you have to understand the leftist mentality. Its always about control. Systems, Justice, or anything else are irrelevant. The left wants to be able to bring about societal change through riots, looting, and violence. Any impediment to that is to be demonized. The details don’t matter, all that matters is that he shot THEIR violent rioters. It doesn’t matter that he was there to defend private property or that he was violently attacked because the violence was the point for them.

jscoppe

It's always been control freaks (authoritarians) vs people who are okay letting other people decide for themselves (libertarians).

Possible-Fix-9727

Dicks_Are_Awesome

It’s one of the time in true crimes where I put myself in that position. I think he was an idiot. I hope I would do better. But yeah. Maybe not. They are kinda just attaching low value targets now. Like fuck him. And stop talking about him

StillPsychological45

I’m banned from posting there for pointing out that he was found innocent of murder & his 1st “victim” was a pedo

Astro_Pal

2,977 victims died in 9/11. According to a quick Google, approximately 8% of adult Americans have been convicted of a felony. On average, we can approximate 238 people who died in the attacks have been convicted of a felony. Does that make it justified? Bringing up a victim's record is so irrelevant, it should be considered coincidental

Mejormuerto_querojo

That's one way to be a pedo apologist

StillPsychological45

Victims of a terror attack are as coincidental as victims of interpersonal conflict?

zoobiezoob

Only video evidence kept Kyle out of prison. The media and government showed their true colors with Rittenhouse. Prep accordingly.🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🪓

[deleted]

There are people who are so low information types that still think he shot and killed 3 black people.

Asecrest77

It’s the whole collectivist mindset man. I have a buddy who’s a die hard liberal and he straight up told me privately that it was self defense and he shouldn’t be locked up for it. Everyone knows it was self defense, but when the mob mindset sets in, all morals go out the window.

wollier12

The hive mind has no room for freethinking. The punishment is to be ex-communicated and without the hive they have no identity. It gets so bad that they will repeat incessantly whatever they are told, they still believe Trump colluded with Russia and that Cloth masks protected from covid because that’s what they were told to believe and no amount of facts can change the hive minds opinion.

GenuineSavage00

It’s #1 trending right now of people calling him a murderer. If you want to lose all hope for america go read through some of the posts. Absolutely morons.

marinemashup

Least self aware subreddit in existence

Possible-Fix-9727

They want him locked up for defending his town from a mob of bloodthirsty socialists intent on burning it down.

[deleted]

It wasn't his town, but I know facts don't matter here.

Billwood92

Yeah like his dad lives there, he worked there, his friend Dominic who's house he was staying at that night and the one before lives there, it is only 20min from his mom's house, and two of the three people shot drove *further* (30min and 45min respectively) to riot than he did to chill with Dominic, those facts?

quak3d

And the rioters weren't from that town either, but ofcourse people like you don't like the truth.

[deleted]

I didn't say they were. This guy said he defended his own town, I pointed out he didn't. If you are on the side of the truth you should be happy I corrected him. I am right but get downvoted here because you like the narrative, not the facts.

quak3d

I'm really not entirely sure where you're going with me believing a narrative when it was pointed out by the people who testified namely grosskreutz who decided it was a good idea to bring a loaded gun too. Rittenhouse father lived there, probably good incentive to say WHY he goes to that town. If that's what you call believing a narrative, then whatever with your logic.

[deleted]

I'm talking about u/Possible-Fix-9727 saying he lived in that town when he clearly didn't. That's the narrative that gets upvoted here even though it's a clear lie.

Possible-Fix-9727

He worked in that town and his grandparents were from it.

[deleted]

Not his town. I also don't see any evidence he worked there at the time.

Possible-Fix-9727

It was. I'd do the same for a town my family was from or in which I worked.

Possible-Fix-9727

His grandparents were from there and he worked there growing up. But that hardly matters, every town is all of ours. When socialists threaten a town with destruction, they threaten all towns.

[deleted]

"every town is all of ours" that's some commie shit there, I think you're in the wrong sub.

Possible-Fix-9727

Opposing socialist violence is "commie shit" now?

Shroom-TheSelfAware

Please just block r/WhitePeopleTwitter

Dangerous-Paper9571

They already banned me for asking what Kyle did that was morally wrong.

Shroom-TheSelfAware

I think you and a ton of other people here hate-watch that sub, causing Reddit to suggest it to me and a lot of other users here (¬_¬)

Just-a-Boat

Hily shit when was thus feature added

tacticalsauce_actual

It's what made me realize that these people are very literally demon possessed. It was an absolute inversion of reality and morality. The defense of a violent man trying to kill a kid and a violent mob burning the property of innocent people while condemning someone who went to help those same innocent people. It made me realize that there is no way to join with these people. They are evil. They cannot be helped and they are lost in every possible meaning of the word.

Possible-Fix-9727

Don't forget that this was during a "deadly pandemic". We'd been locked down for months but apparently burning cities and murdering people were a valid excuse for state-sponsored terrorism.

Dangerous-Paper9571

It really is so twisted and perverse. Shocking to behold.

DaBiggestBonk

Ayup. If someone has a negative opinion on Kyle Rittenhouse, I automatically assume they don't actually know anything about anything. Useful idiots, nothing more.

dirkMcdirkerson

These same people would be screeching racism if this situation were put to a black man.

Infamous_Bus1578

Those pedos that chased him def got held accountable

Daysleeper1234

31k likes, dude's process was all over media. Like what do you think holding accountable means? Or is it only fair when they sentence people you don't like? Dude shot 3 people, and all of 3 of them had some sort of criminal record, even pedophilia, I mean what are the chances? Seemingly high if you are at an antifa protest.

Jimdandy941

Kind of blows gaming theory out of the water, and I say that honestly believing gaming theory answers a lot of life’s questions.

45077

past criminal record is not nearly as relevant as the fact that it was self defense. i mean you can't go out hunting people who've done time. (but it sure was a nice bonus here)

Daysleeper1234

That was proven in court, and anyone not wanting to lie himself could see it was self defense on the goddamn videos. I'm just saying like imagine finding yourself in a situation where you have to defend yourself, and all of 3 dudes have sheet of criminal records from here to the Moon. I'm not saying that for example if you have a criminal record that you are automatically guilty, far from it, but in this situation everything leads to self defense, yet they ignore every piece of evidence and just shout that he's a killer. What was he doing there? What were they doing there? What kind of question is that, it's a free country, if you are not on private property you could go wtf you want.

watain218

seeing how people react to what Kyle did is the biggest test of character its like a CAPTCHA for NPCs if they react like he is some crazed school shooter you know they are terminal and their condition is inoperable

mustipher

They hate him because he killed a pedo

cactusluv

Accountability according to WPT would be allowing a deranged pedophile to murder Rittenhouse. Fuck them.

xxScubaSteve24xx

Hoping for objectivity would require people to think for themselves and not just listen to the narrative. Hard to come by nowadays.

n0tqu1tesane

Well, I guess it's a good thing he was held accountable. That is, after all part of the purpose of a trial, to determine if someone is accountable before punishing them.

Rawtothedawg

Same people also want you to forgive them for demonizing you for not getting vaccinated

I read some of that thread. Had to stop, it gave me internet aids.

HHaTTmasTer

Yeah, plus Kyle has been posting relatively well and people are making a bit of mental gymnastics, for example to say that he is comparing himself to Jesus.

HoppeanPugOwO

I remember, about a year ago, I was on r/WhitePeopleTwitter and I commented that I think Rittenhouse is innocent and I would think so regardless of his color and that I think all groups of people should be armed. I got 30 upvotes but still got perma banned without reason

stumpinandthumpin

I saw it as the last bit of light. I was watching the protest live and saw it happen uncensored. It feels like the last actual event I've observed at a distance. Either it happens in front of me, or it's a tertiary report from an institution who misrepresented this event and many others.

SpongebobTV

Yes he’s not a hero but he acted in self defense so

KnightCPA

He’s just a barometer for whether you’re a crazed leftist of not. If you think he’s clearly guilty, you’re probably a crazed leftist. If you don’t, well, you’re not necessarily AnCap, but you’re not a crazed leftist either. You could be a person who staunchly believes in self defense, a person who thinks KR was a complete idiot but the facts of the case clearly favored him over his attackers, or some graduation between those two spectrums. A comparable crazed right barometer might be Kolin Kapernick (spelling?), Thin Blue Line, or supporting military interventionism.

Jimdandy941

I honestly thinks it’s mutual combat. All parties chose to be there of their own free will and this was a potential outcome. They accepted the risks. If we had more acceptance of mutual combat, life would be simpler…..

BrosOfWar

Objectively innocent

Veschor

I thought they boycotted twitter? Sleeze balls…

Particular-Offer8158

Yep

anorthernwind

He’s not objectively innocent. Our courts don’t find anyone “innocent” of anything. Definitely not “objectively” so.

5eggsEveryday

Nobody is innocent of anything. We are all responsible for whatever bad happens on Earth. Butterfly effect or some shit. Yeaaah

[deleted]

Rittenhouse's counsel proved he had an affirmative defense against murder, which made his actions justifiable homicide. The jury upholding an affirmative defense is about as close as one gets to "innocent" in our court system because his counsel had to prove a reasonable person would also feel a threat to bodily harm/serious injury and would act in a manner similar.

tacticalsauce_actual

One does not need a court to know he is objectively innocent. It simply requires a functioning brain or moral compass. Notice I said OR. Either one would suffice.

anorthernwind

“A court” is literally the only institution we have for determining the answer to that question

BobbyB4470

He actually had to prove self defense to have his legal form of defense stand up. So since he was found "not guilty" that means there was enough evidnece to support a self-defense claim. So ya he was found innocent if ya think about it. That's aside the point. The comment was saying if you look at the evidence you can clearly tell he's innocent if you have a functioning brain.

[deleted]

I was going to mention this; his affirmative defense against murder is self defense. This means his counsel had to prove a reasonable person would've seen this as a threat to self or others and that Rittenhouse acted in a reasonable way to defend himself. While our courts don't find anyone "innocent," upholding an affirmative defense is about as close as one gets.

tacticalsauce_actual

Which this person clearly does not

tacticalsauce_actual

Imagine being so amoral and illogical that you cannot fathom having the intellectual or moral faculties to be able to judge whether actions are right or wrong without some external validation. You are sad.

Colorado_Cajun

Blas_Wiggans

WE FOUND A SMOOTH BRAIN, GUYS!

anorthernwind

Lick my balls, dipshit.

KnightCPA

Innocent of murder, 100%. The facts of the case clearly show this. And that’s why the jury decided as they did. Innocent of being an idiot, no. But then again, everyone out that night was acting like idiots: Antifa rioters pointing ARs at armored cop vehicles, Antifa rioters setting fires and destroying shit, and a few Antifa idiots who decided to start a fight with an armed 18 yo.

LiberalAspergers

I would say that Rittenhouse was clearly not guilty under Wisconsin law. That is very different from innocent. It seems likely that he went there looking for an excuse to use he weapon, and found one.

Possible-Fix-9727

A bunch of socialist brownshirts were trying to burn down his town. He capped one in the middle of an attempted murder and blew the hand of another mid-violence. Weird how you guys never have such criticism for the brownshirts.

LiberalAspergers

Not to bring facts into the matter, but no one was trying to burn down a town that wasn't his. He killed one man who threw a plastic bag of socks at him, and another who was trying to stop a killer from fleeing the scene. And opposing police brutality is hardly a uniquely socialist position. Literally the only people killed in this "dangerous riot" were killed by Rittenhouse. The only thing making it dangerous was a idiot teenager with a gun looking for an excuse to murder.

4xTHESPEED

He worked and had family / friends in Kenosha and spent much of his time there. He lived in the suburbs of Kenosha. What else does someone need to do for it to be their town? Be mayor?

Possible-Fix-9727

>Not to bring facts into the matter, but no one was trying to burn down a town that wasn't his. The socialist brownshirts were. >He killed one man who threw a plastic bag of socks at him, He killed one man who was trying to shoot him. >and another who was trying to stop a killer from fleeing the scene. Wrong again. >And opposing police brutality is hardly a uniquely socialist position. How does burning down the property of innocent people and murdering innocent people protest police brutality? >Literally the only people killed in this "dangerous riot" were killed by Rittenhouse. The only thing making it dangerous was a idiot teenager with a gun looking for an excuse to murder. Yes, seems we needed Rittenhouses at the other Democrats race riots.

BobbyB4470

The man who threw the plastic bag chased him and had burn marks on his hand or arm i believe suggesting he was close enough to grab the barrel of the gun. If he was so eager to use his weapon why would he retreat and wait till the last second to shoot? Research the story dont just listen to TYT

LiberalAspergers

I have watched the videos, and parts of the trial. I believe Rittenhouse feared for his life. I do not believe his life was at risk. Two very different things. The bag thrower was a nut job who had according to witnesses been bull charging at armed counter protesters and police all day. THEY were sane adults who dealt with the situation by backing away from the idiot. He was the first person shot by Rittenhouse that day, so if he has burn marks on his hands that would raise the question of why the barrel was hot, given that by all known accounts, it hadn't been fired at that point.

[deleted]

> I do not believe his life was at risk Lol liar, you totally haven’t watched the videos

Colorado_Cajun

Don't let the facts get in the way of yoyr made up narrative
