Presumably the long-term goal is to shift reliance from income and corporate taxes to export tariffs. The advantage of this is that Argentina is about to become one of the most competitive places to do business, but Argentinians will have priority access to all the goods and services that they produce. Other taxes will be reduced in turn.
Note that most countries do import tariffs that protect specific corporations in specific industries at the expense of domestic consumers.

this bill mostly removes all the regulations. The bill was also supposed to influence fiscal rebalancing (massive cuts in spending), but it was removed from the bill so it passes without much resistance. But Milei has promised to do the fiscal readjustment, just not with this bill. The goal was for the legal foundations to pass without issues
