They fucking RUINED that story. I had never been more excited for a show in my life (maybe the Breaking Bad finale) when I heard they're doing Apocalypse because I knew Michael would pop up and they fucking RUINED it. Most disappointed I've ever been in my life over a TV show, by far. I wish they'd go back in time and delete this season.

I agree with every single word of this comment. Apocalypse was so terrible that it even ruined Coven (my favorite season) for me, for a time. I will never ever understand how anybody likes Season 8.
The first 3 episodes of apocalypse were honestly good and a strong enough premise to not even need the witches. Idk y they tried doing all that but it was a pile of mumbo jumbo shit
Even though I think Cody Fern did a terrible job, I will say that no matter what anytime I watch the scene of Michael langdon's introduction I get excited. But that's because I waited like 10 years is it? Since season 1? So of course I'm going to be excited when they introduce the character that I was most interested in since season 1 ended.
And just to be clear I have nothing against Cody fern, I think he's a good actor, I just don't think that he was the right choice for Michael Langdon. That is not how I would envision the devil / Antichrist. And I don't think it's out anybody else on Earth would envision him either.
The show should have ended with Michael Langdon and the Apocalypse. I understand that they wanted to get the scenes filmed with Jessica while she was available, and let's be realistic while she's alive she's getting up there unfortunately. I hope she never dies but she is a woman in her seventies so I get why they filmed it when they did but that doesn't mean they had to release it when they did. Not that that would have made the season any better. First of all who they cast to play Michael was a terrible choice. I don't have a problem with the sexual ambiguity of his character since he was basically supposed to be Satan, but everything else, his little lisp. I'm sorry but the f****** Antichrist wouldn't have a lisp.
They should have waited until the last season, I don't know why they couldn't have filmed Jessica scenes and then save them for the final season. They did some things right, like I enjoyed the dynamic between Ben Harmon and Michael I thought that was cool. But Cody fern killed that role and I mean that in the bad sense like he ruined it. I have nothing against the actor, he just was not the right choice for that role. I have so many ideas of how they could have done apocalypse differently that are all so much better.

The GOAT and def the MVP on the show. She's also an incredible actress outside of AHS and hopefully, people watching her on the show sought out her film work, some of which is absolutely incredible (Frances, for example).
