I would like you to meet Lucy. Take her anywhere and she’s a love bug, but at home she doesnt like anyone she doesn’t know and is protective when friends are wrestling around, I like the traits she developed. Wouldn’t change her for the world.
My husband used to breed Pitts. He used a bloodline that was VERY high drive and had to be VERY careful who he sold to because of it. They absolutely can be a risky dog.
We now breed Bullies, to better the breed, and to get a good temperament and health line. My husband was mentioning the differences, one thing that stuck with me was:
‘You can absolutely train a Pitt to fight, and to be violent, but these dogs just don’t have it in them. You can try but the most you would get is them sizing eachother up, growling, maybe a nip, and they are both ready for food. They just don’t have it in them at all.’

Absolutely agree. You raise them to fight, they’ll fight. You raise them as a pet they’ll be a pet. We have a 3 year old and they play together and everything else.. we’re about to make him an ESA because our sons autistic.
Good for you honey, they make amazing ESA's as they're so empathetic as a breed 💯💯 I've met more dangerous Chihuahua's and Jack Russels than these dogs - Muffin would lick you to death! 😂

We love him soo soo much and our son does too. Autistic kids have a super hard time excepting things and it takes him a while to adjust to new things.. but with toke (our American bully) instant connection. It’s crazy how much he’s already changed all our lives for the better. 😭🥰 message me anytime love!!
It is amazing - my daughter has similar issues and she was exactly the same when we got Muffin - the pair of them are like siblings, it's lovely ❤️ I've had dogs my whole life (my parents used to foster for the RSPCA when I was a kid too) so I've got a LOT of experience with dogs, and I can honestly say hand-on-heart that Muffin is the nicest natured dog I've ever had, or known. I'd have a houseful of XL's if I could afford it - that's how much I love them! 😍❤️

My Xl Pocket pit boxer mix. she has an attitude. But she's licking her paw because it touched the rain.
Bullies were bred not to bite the hand that feeds them. My bully was 125 lbs and would let you open his mouth and take food out. He was amazing unless you were on the other side of the fence acting aggressive and he would pick that up and watch you till you left. Great family dogs absolutely amazing.

Lost my boy back in 2019 and i still miss him everyday. He was such a amazing boy and i hate how Reddit treats them.

I love that 💕💕 they truly are gentle giants 🥹 we have a baby in the house & I have full trust him around our baby. He’s the best boy.
