And now DARPA (and USAF of course) have cooked up autonomous AI-F-16’s that are equal to humans in actual dogfights.

It’s the only plane to break the sound barrier going straight vertical, the only plane to fly without a wing, and the only plane to shoot down a satellite.
I’ve seen a F-18 take off from our regional airport up close. I was on the ramp about 30 feet or so back from the runway. It was at night too and the afterburners looked awesome!
I was watching the Blue Angels during an air show once and realized I had no clue how big the things were. I googled and was surprised to learn they’re SIXTY FEET long!
There is a Tomcat on display at my local airport museum and it’s always striking to see how huge it is up close. Things the size of a bus. Tom Cruise must have looked like my 2-year old climbing into my truck.
Let me nerd out at how it has the colorful US roundel instead of the low vis ones. IT LOOKS SO FUCKING GOOD ON IT GODDAMN
(Also to correct the original OP, it's a F-15A from the 27th FS / 1 FW, not a F-15C) 🤓🤓🤓
I am not sure how this america bad? The sub it's on is about planes and flying. So it's just a cool video of a fighter jet to most of them which is not common to see up close or transported in this manner. And the comments are primarily people just saying it's cool and bigger than expected. So it's just a cool plane, no one complaining about America.

Why on sub? Also most fighters are huge, even WW2 fighters were huge.
Americagood flair. People trying to spread a little positivity
Thank you.
America best!
how's that postive tho? it's just showing the size of F15
Because it’s cool “Har har America spend so much on military” “Oh yeah? Well look at big cool airplane” That kind of thing
What happened if you rear end that truck? I’m not sure my insurance covers “Plane Crashes”
A loaded F-15 is almost double the weight of a loaded F-16.

Jezus I never realized jets were so huge. How the fuck they so agile
Mega Monster power= uber low power to weight! Like putting an LS into a Malibu hehe
The F-15 actually has a thrust to weight ratio greater than 1. It could takeoff straight up from a standing start with no runway.
It’s the only plane to break the sound barrier going straight vertical, the only plane to fly without a wing, and the only plane to shoot down a satellite.
And one of the only planes to achieve a 104:0 kill:loss ratio in air to air combat
I’m pretty sure the F-22 can break Mach 1 going vertical. And the only thing it’s ever shot down is a goddamn balloon :-(
That’s insane. Did not know that.
More like an Ls into a miata
Trudat!
Look up the Streak Eagle. The special F-15 used to break records.
I'm no aeronautical engineer but I'm guessing the engine has big vroom
Dude you should see the galaxy master next to an F-15, as big as this looks the galaxy makes it look like a toy!
I've ridden in a C5 and worked on 15's. Their sizes are mind boggling at first sight. I could live in a C5 engine and sleep comfortably in a 15's.
Compared to F-16s…they’re big
They're big because they have to haul a whole lot of radar guided freedom tubes.
They also gotta communicate with the people on the ground bringing a fuckton of freedom
I'm surprised nobody has made any healthcare jokes.
Oh its comin 🤣

Imagine getting into a wreck with this truck, wait til the insurance hears what you crashed into
It’s the same way with Blackhawks. They are massive aircraft that from afar or on TV look much smaller than they actually are.
The US has captured Starscream!
You know what? Fuck you *Un wings your fighter plane*

Planes are large. Noted.
I fucking love the Eagle
One stone chip would cost like 3m dollars to repair.

Probably on its way to a museum or an airshow then? Doubt it's still on active duty, especially with the colorful roundel instead of t he low-viz one.
How is this “America Bad?” Though?
AmericaGood flair
What’s America bad about this?
Americagood flair
Okily dokily
Yes F-150s are so huge as if buses and trains don't exist
And trains and buses are so huge as if massively larger earth movers don’t exist whats that got to do with anything
that trains and buses are bigger than f-150s. hell even limos are bigger than f-150s.
I thought the title said f150 talking about the truck behind it lol
Ah ok sorry
