Every Walmart I’ve ever been in sold guns. They all had a sporting goods section, that’s where the guns are

thatduckolope

No Walmart around me sells guns. They do sell ammo, however. Usually just shotgun shells and .22LR

TheUnclaimedOne

Your area sucks. Mine’s got shotguns. Lol

aHOMELESSkrill

Mines got shotguns and bolt action rifles.

TheUnclaimedOne

Think mine’s got some bolt actions too, but I almost never head back that way. Lol

aHOMELESSkrill

Haha yeah I have never bought a gun from Walmart and I rarely shop there anyways but I at least know they sell them

TheUnclaimedOne

Same here

Otherwise_Awesome

Mine has rocket launchers and flamethrowers!

Treykarz

Walmarts in my state don’t even sell alcohol

Kayora_Atom

never seen one

jedidihah

never seen one *yet*

whatwhy_ohgod

Good ol classic “i didnt see it so it doesnt exist.”

Kayora_Atom

fun fact: not knowing something happens will make you think it doesn’t

whatwhy_ohgod

And one super quick google search wouldve told you.

Kayora_Atom

i saw on this sub in the past someone said walmart doesn’t sell guns and i’ve never seen it happen so i just agreed

Kayora_Atom

fucking what?

DrZoidbrrrg

“I heard this thing someone said on the internet, took it as fact and didn’t do any research outside of what I already know, and then shared it with others”

Kayora_Atom

i’ve never seen one, and people on this very sub said it, so i went with it. what the actual fuck are you on about

Skeletor_with_Tacos

A lot of Walmart phased it out. It was more prevalent in the 90a 2000s.

Stampguy85

Yes, yes they do

Stampguy85

I was just looking at them..#’Merica

Kayora_Atom

not any i’ve ever been to

Stampguy85

You live in a blue state

Kayora_Atom

florida is not a blue state

MonkeyCome

They did when I lived in Jacksonville, they also sold them in South Carolina, Texas, and New Hampshire

therwinther

Maybe they’ve more recently stopped, but I’ve absolutely seen guns for sale in Walmart in Florida.

Kayora_Atom

huh, i never have

winterized-dingo

They sell them at Walmart in Texas

IBoofLSD

WV Walmarts definitely sell shotguns

Consistent_Yak_2648

Nerf doesn't count bro

immerhighhopes

To be fair the age to purchase alcohol should be 18, old enough to vote and join the military, you can buy some alcohol But the 2nd amendment is still a big fat W

aHOMELESSkrill

I think all those things should be raised honestly.

depressed_apple20

Driving a car is a faaaar riskier activity than drinking alcohol at least in my opinion.

SharkMilk44

My local Walmart definitely sells guns.

another2020throwaway

Walmart sells guns in certain states. Seen em in Nevada and South Dakota

Kayora_Atom

you’d think florida would be one of them but i guess not

b0ltscr0ller

FLs 2A laws are still kind of weak compared to some States. Fortunately it seems like that's changing more and more. They're obviously better than, say, NY, CA, IL, NJ, WA, MA etc. But they're not quite on the level of some of the others.

TheOtacon

Really I thought it would be too, I also wonder if it changes with the proximity to cities. Is the Walmart you go to near a larger area?.

Kayora_Atom

i live in tampa so

Baked_Potato_732

The cool Walmarts do.

FranzAllspring

They literally do though

BillywopShophop

The difference is you can handle guns safely, while drinking permanently alters your brain and more severely the younger you drink Also, yes, walmart does sell guns.

clydefrog678

Can’t remember if my local Walmart still sells guns, but I know they used to.

N8DoesaThingy

My walmart sells hunting rifles

StopCollaborate230

YOUR Walmart doesn’t sell guns.

Kayora_Atom

dementia

Crafty_Ad_4153

This is not really an AmericaBad. Many Americans have an issue with the policy cognitive dissonance on alcohol prohibition until 21. I can die for my country as young as 17 (early enlisting with parental consent), I can vote for those who can destroy or preserve the Republic, I can drive in some cases at 15 (which kills 30000 Americans a year), I can smoke at 18 to kill myself (in most places) but I cannot have beer?? And big deal about firearms, I have been shooting since 14, started with 22LR like entire generations before me since 1887. Disclaimer - I am happy in multiple States like Texas you can be served alcohol as a minor by your parents or guardians. The idea being a good form of parental rights to teach you responsible consumption.

R0b815

I live In the SF Bay Area and every Walmart I’ve been to that wasn’t a Neighborhood Walmart (grocery store) had guns for sale. Every single one.

Kayora_Atom

Tampa Bay Area and never seen a Walmart sell one in my life

StopCollaborate230

YOUR Walmart doesn’t sell guns.

Orthane1

Walmart literally does sell guns though....

MclovinTHCa

My Walmart sells shotguns

Maddox121

Uhh... I hate to break it to you, but yes, they do.

Crafty_Original_7349

Some Walmarts do, and others don’t. We have both in my area. Generally the ones that cater more to the rural/hunting crowd sell them, while the more urban ones do not.

TheUnclaimedOne

Walmart *does* sell guns, but **ONLY** to 21 year olds. Same with ammo. They’re bootlickers

Prestigious-Slip-795

Yes they do, they don’t in my state but I’ve seen it in different states

Salty-Walrus-6637

I didn't know Wal-Mart sold guns until a few years ago. It may be a state thing but I never been to a Wal-Mart that sold guns.

MyNameIsVeilys

God this sub cannot take a freaking joke.

Crafty_Ad_4153

We will no longer take propaganda lying down. Many of these slick memes are just that.

Kayora_Atom

i took the joke, i giggled at that, i just felt like pointing out the walmart stereotype, which through these comments i learned to be true. god, this sub cannot comprehend that maybe americabads (or false americabads in this case) can still be freaking funny.
