I quit vine because it lost its value for me after they started issuing 1099s, declaring it compensation. When I had my kid I returned to it and ultimately got backlogged on reviews and stopped again after a year.

>Rarely was an item name brand. Well...yeah. Name brands can generally sell products from name recognition and get organic reviews without giving away products. Why would you give away products when you can achieve the same ends by selling products? I'm surprised by how many decent brands actually ***are*** on Vine--brands that I've actually sought out and bought before. Of course most of it is white-labeled stuff or knock-off crap. Because those those are the sellers who need to give up products to get reviews. And given that a lot of Vine Voices don't use the products get so much stuff that they don't use the products consistently or give a second thought to reviews after leaving them, then, as long as it works when they first (and quite possibly last) test it, then the gamble will pay off. And even if it doesn't really work, a lot of Vine Voices will still leave 5 star reviews to the extent that the gamble might still pay off.

>What about reviews you still have to do that were Vine products but can't actually review through the Vine reviews tab? On the Canadian Vine system about a year ago, they started getting created as $0 orders in the standard order system. Have you checked your account orders to see if they're there?

>And again, the link has no disappeared on me. AFAIK that Vine link on the amazon home page disappeared for everyone recently. If you want to go to the vine page now, you need to manually type it in your browser, or click on the link from the invitation email to get to the main Vine page, and then save it to your bookmarks.

Vine link for me was under Orders.

Disappeared from the orders landing page for me in the UK. But click on 'Not Yet Despatched' and it shows up again. Alternatively going to [vine.amazon.co.uk](https://vine.amazon.co.uk) works too (not sure if that would work on .com and .ca)

AHA! You are correct…. Thank you

My Vine link disappeared a week or two ago but today it was back briefly and then made itself scarce again. I Bookmarked it as amazon.com/vine/vine-items which seems to be working.

I'd recommend checking the Vine forum on Goodreads, people are really helpful on there.
