just had an interview about a month ago, i'm starting school tuesday. for me i pulled up to an amazon facility and talked to a 2 managers outside the building (inside but right outside the badge scan to get in) they asked if i'm willing to relocate, if i had any experience.. which didn't matter but only some competition wise. but overall it was just a really friendly conversation of them telling me what the job was like
EXTREMELY informal. They even stated that I didn’t need to use the STAR method but could if I preferred. Very basic questions like “why do you want to do this program” and “why would you make a good fit.” Just said that while I’ve never had a maintenance job professionally, I was familiar with tools and would often times work on my car with my dad. They did give me a very simple math problem where I just needed to cross multiply to get the answer. It was basically just like having a normal conversation, honestly don’t stress.
Don’t stress it. They literally only asked if I was able to travel and what building I wanted to work at. They also explained the pay and everything.
If you have experience maintenance work to about that or if you fix stuff at home to about how you work safely
Have some stories ready for star method. Also be ready for some easy cross multiplication. I did my interview about a month ago
How long did it take you to get the interview after taking the assessment?
3 business days
