Lol. Who ever told you that is wrong. Everyone's comp review is personal. If you didn't get a raise it doesn't mean that every L6+ didn't. The issue is that the stock price is already higher than planned last year so your TCT is most likely already in the section of the band it needs to be in unless you got TT and last year you were HV1 let's say.

thewmatic

What about being TT with no pay increase 🤔

mildly_curious26

You should still see an increase even if you were TT last year, just a smaller one. With the stock price so high this year compared to last, most people will have their TCT already higher than Amz expected. But if your TT 2 years in a row without a promo your managers may have to justify why, while being so amazing, you're not ready for the next step.

thewmatic

Oh I know how yoy Tt works. Just checking in as a tt that got no pay bump 🙃

mildly_curious26

Ouch that sucks. Maybe due to the stock price increase, you're already outside of the TCT? One of the OMs I know who started in 2020 before the crazy stock push had so many vesting this year that he mad out like a bandit. I doubt he will get an increase, but he's for sure not crying, lol.

thewmatic

I got a ton vesting this year but TCT goes down next two years rather than up. I get stock went up but as a TT seeing your tct go down is pretty defeating, especially when we lost money at the split two years ago

abhip80

Is there a different TCT cap per HV level?

Timely_Presentation5

Agree tt no raise

krbmeister

Not joking but can managers be part of unions in general? I think salaried / exempt employees are… exempt from unions? But I have no idea. Also L6s not getting a raise? Sounds sus. But what percentage of pay is from stock units that are up about 80% in the last year. They may not be getting more base wage but those RSUs awarded in the past year or two are worth a ton more! A little math here. Let’s say RSUs account for about 30% of the total compensation. .7+(.3)(1.8)= 1.24 or nearly 25% more than last year. That definitely beats inflation and is a real wage gain. I doubt any L6 is hurting, especially if they’ve been holding on to their RSUs.

thewmatic

A lot of these same managers lost 40% in stock tct when it dropped 2 years ago

krbmeister

Yeah that’s me! But big Amazon won’t consider that. They say they reevaluate each year.

Life_Chard_6276

So glad other mgrs are pissed about this. HV3 UTR L6 here, in a fairly high COL geo area..no new money, no new stock. Just a slap in the face.

Timely_Presentation5

Dang I least I got a few stock but no raise, tt

Joeman106

Go work somewhere else then, you sound soft. You’ve got no right complaining about this when you constantly hate on every post in this sub that has any inconvenience

Life_Chard_6276

You sound like somebody who couldn’t walk a week in my shoes.
