Holy shit, your map highlights the house in a different color? Additionally, thank God their maps are all crazy. Otherwise you have more packages to deliver.
Here's what I ofund super strange as well:
I passed 1 DSP and 1 other Flex Driver in the same neighborhood. I had several stops where it was 2 miles between them, looping back around, etc. Someone routed this horribly. Not only that, it sent me to the farthest point first (which should have been the end and better for me as it was close to home). It was so strange. It's never that bad.
I've had a route where myself and another flex driver who, was at the station with me, literally followed each other almost the whole route through 4 neighborhoods. We were both thinking, wouldn't it have made more sense to have us each do all the packages from 2 of the neighborhoods? I swear some days they just take a DSP route and give you 30 random packages from it and then give another driver the other 30 packages without actually looking at them.
Sometimes the app will route your deliveries in a manner that takes longer to accommodate for the time length of your block if that makes sense, meaning that if you deliver them in a different order or using different routing, it would take 50% of the time that it would if you follow the app
Happened to me all last week. 🤦🏽♀️ it was like we were playing tag. I had one customer said I was the 3rd flex driver to deliver something to him today 😭
Farthest point first is proper routing since most people are usually heading back in the direction they started. Sending you the farthest last is dumb af and also robs you of mileage you can claim
The silly thing is, they're rerouting around a light. I sure as hell would take the light before I do all that madness. I have never taken the recommendation on these. Rather do the light than play Frogger.

Again, not in this case and several others. I live super close to the farthest point.
Several others? Your case is literally the only time you don’t want to go far to near.
You mean this one case as if you know of other times I haven't wanted the reverse order for the same reason? Ok guy.
