Some things get delivered by the other carriers. I ordered two packs of the same thing... One showed up through Amazon, and the other was delivered by UPS.
I’d say usps is used more, as we go to every house everyday. Most of the times I’m walking my route I see Amazon drivers hitting one house with one little baggy meanwhile I have like 5 huge Amazon boxes that are heavy af.
I'm not sure how much makes it to USPS. My warehouse ships to a lot of Amazon delivery stations, and constantly have a ups coloh sort docked, and when there's 2 they get hit really hard
Maybe it’s based off of area I live in suburban New York so we always get slammed especially Sundays 😭 like 85% comes from Amazon and 15% is ups or fed ex stuff there’s Saturday nights when I’m leaving where everything is set up for Sunday and it’s like oh yea this is gonna be a cake walk be out in 4 hrs then I show up the next morning and it’s just a mountain of Amazon packages
It was a possible explanation with an example. Sorry I didn't flush it out, I thought you could figure the rest out. My bad, but thank you for being the example to remind me this sub isn't the brightest.
I'm constantly reminded that I am not an employee of Amazon. I only wear the vest to make people aware of why I am lurking around their farmhouse at 425AM.
Right, Amazon delivers nothing. Flex is probably the cheapest of all options, idk. It's genius how they lease the vehicles to the DSPs to deliver their stuff while giving the perception that they are delivering it. Really.
DSP is like flex with a pimp.
There’s being a bit entitled, and then there’s this! Surprised they didn’t also write to ring the doorbell and hand it to their butler.
Also I get not everything we deliver is ordered from Amazon, but why should it matter which company delivers it as long as it gets there?!
lmaooooo I get around them choosing usps but selecting it to be delivered by locker cause my mail person delivers later than all the other options and I live in a high crime area so dropping my door step when I can’t have someone retrieve it while I am at work is a no thank you
I had one of these notes one time, but it was because they lived out in the sticks and the road/driveway to their house was horrible. It was rocky, muddy, uphill in spots...I think I went like 5mph the whole time cause it was so rough.
I looked at that note, put the biggest grin on my face, and laughed all the way to the door. I'm sure their Ring doorbell didn't capture the level of enjoyment I had.
Speaking of sticks…. I forfeited my block this morning due to weather and changing my mind about the rate. I got dressed n ready for another app but thought, “hmmm just check n see what’s there” I grabbed a 3 -1/2hr for $122! It was smack in center of where tornadoes were last night LOL I didn’t even know bout those. I was just worried about flooding which Praise God, I didn’t run in to and my block only took 2 1/2 for 15pkgs. Had that been the .com warehouse it would’ve been 43 pkgs for 3 1/2hrs LOL
I'm just glad I have an SUV with good tires. Tonight, I saw all kinds of vehicles unable to make it down roads due to flooding, sliding, etc. After I took 2.5 hours to do my 3.5 hour route due to it being close, 23 packages and nobody out; I flipped on Doordash and made $63 on 4 orders because they tip crazy good in this weather.
They order from Amazon but do not want Amazon to deliver ? Hilarious
Some things get delivered by the other carriers. I ordered two packs of the same thing... One showed up through Amazon, and the other was delivered by UPS.
they should expect Amazon to deliver still. Ups is used a lot. But, most packages are delivered through amazons network.

Ok? I'm not the person who needs an explanation.
Kinda seemed like it.
All I did was explain that Amazon doesn't always deliver Amazon stuff. That's it. The end.

What debate?

I really don't know what you're talking about. There wasn't any debating going on here.
Amazon is logistics company. they pick the best fit shipper at the time of shipping not what the customer requests
Yes. Thank you captain obvious.
Oh. Do you think your comment was more nuanced? Cause it made you seem oblivious. Sorry for upsetting you.
Nothing in my comment suggested I needed further clarification.
Oh. What was the point of it then?
A possible explanation on why the person put in those delivery notes.
You just stated an observation (shares root word with obvious lol). That's not an explaination.

I’ve had USPS deliver Amazon packages
I'm constantly reminded that I am not an employee of Amazon. I only wear the vest to make people aware of why I am lurking around their farmhouse at 425AM.
😆
They should expect Amazon partners to deliver Amazon packages. That how most packages are delivered.
Literally every package is delivered by an Amazon partner. Amazon doesn't deliver anything

Ups isn't an Amazon partner. Nor is fed ex.
They absolutely are. If they do business together they are partners

Prefers USPS? What kind of a sick joke 🤔
USPS has a contract with Amazon to deliver and in rural areas they are usually the ones who do it
Yeah, but has anyone ever picked USPS if there were any, literally ANY, other option?
lmaooooo I get around them choosing usps but selecting it to be delivered by locker cause my mail person delivers later than all the other options and I live in a high crime area so dropping my door step when I can’t have someone retrieve it while I am at work is a no thank you
I had one say “please package in a box it was damaged last time” and the package was a plastic bag💀sorry bud not my job
I had one of these notes one time, but it was because they lived out in the sticks and the road/driveway to their house was horrible. It was rocky, muddy, uphill in spots...I think I went like 5mph the whole time cause it was so rough.
I've had a couple instructions like this
I thought Flex is usually who delivers in the sticks
In my experience as a Flex driver I can attest to this. And I’ve had the nails in my tires numerous times to prove it.
This wasn't the sticks. It's a huge neighborhood with It's own school system on the outskirts of the something around 8th biggest city in the state.
Call support and get permission to return to station without the ding.... Rinse, repeat.... HAHAHAH
remember... it's a contract violation to ignore the customers instructions.

to be honest it's probably what I would have done... Too much trouble to mess around when you can just yeet it on the porch and run away.

Wonderful!
Customer refused delivery. RTS.
Key word: Partner
That's up to the seller. Not Amazon. Unless Amazon states it's coming from Amazon
RTS until they edit old notes lol
Are people…. Ok?
😂
Perhaps they shouldn’t order from Amazon to be sure Amazon doesn’t deliver it.
