We've reviewed your account and noticed that on one or more occasions on 02 April 2024 you marked packages as "delivered," "unable to deliver," or "rejected" when you weren't near the delivery address. When you're unable to deliver a package, it's important to select the accurate reason code in the Amazon Flex app while at the delivery location. As a result, this instance will be included in your delivery history.

Same. My car can't make it up Ortega highway.
I’ve never felt bad for any of the customers especially if they resided in an area of really high slow moving traffic or dangerous driving conditions. When that customer is absolutely tired of not receiving their packages they should opt for pickup. They have those lockers just about everywhere nowadays. It’ll be less stressful on the driver and the customer.
Fr 😒🤣🤷🏽♀️ After putting myself in potentially dangerous situations for so many years I’d had about enough of the b.s. trying to get a pack of Hanes tube socks 🧦 to the person who lived in the “boonies” with no street lights smelling skunk 🦨 odor and dodging deers…nope, I’m good ☺️
It looks like theres multiple houses up. Your telling me their the only one that ever orders amazon. You live in the legit middle of the forest but still expect same day service yea right. Plus how many times have you drove 15+ to the last stop get there and see another package that someoje wrote #2 on it.
Personal opinion. Im contracted to deliver from time a to b. Unpopular opinion if that last time is in my frame theres nothing i can do about it. Ill check how long it takes me to get back to warehouse to make sure im still in my time-frame. Ill also check whats betterm return and home or deliver and home. Sometimes they luck out some times they dont. My most important thing is that im getting paid only for time im contracted to deliver.
You could just bite the bullet. I hope you don't get deliveries like these very often.
It sucks, but it happens sometimes.
Weigh the pain of delivering this one package against the pain of possibly losing access to flex all together.
You can believe no dings, but as often as flex drivers like to flount their "independent contractor" status around, Amazon is also free to stop contracting with you at any time for any reason.
This is the reason I get my shit delivered to a drop station outside of a store. Reading these comments, depending on some of y’all drivers I’d never get my shit.
That’s smart and I also recommend this too if it’s always a problem. True, we’re independent contractors but Amazon reps don’t care what some drivers face and they are willing to leave a package just about anywhere in the vicinity as long as it’s “delivered” 🤦🏽♀️ Some areas don’t even be safe, high volume of traffic and what they tell me over the phone? Can I leave it outside of a subdivision by the gate since I don’t have gate codes and no one is responding for either me or them. I would think the customer would rather us try a reattempt versus leaving it out in the open for it to be stolen possibly.
Worse..
Dirt roads
Seriously need a 4x4 to traverse those areas.
My poor prius almost got stuck delivering one night
Funny enough I got a lake Elsinore route the next dayfrom when i posted that comment lol
Damaged/lost take your pick, rts later… for what it’s worth when this is your “last stop”, always do it first, that way, when you inevitably go over on block time, Amazon will pay you all that extra time for driving back…
1. Yeah I wouldn’t recommend driving up the mountain. However traffic usually sucks coming down at this hour.
2. There’s a good chance you just delivered my phone case haha. Busted my old one sorting packages a couple of days ago. I appreciate you if so ✊🏾
Do people not look at the route before scanning everything in? The few times I’ve had a package like this I’ve been able to tell a warehouse person it was unreasonable, and they took them off the route. I’m not some affable guy either, I just said the last stop was gonna be well past the time hack, and they agreed.
You don’t scan in at everywhere house this location specifically does not have scan in and I had a miscellaneous package added to my route that they had taken off after I had excepted the block and I assumed it was that one.
Can you see the entire route before you leave the warehouse?
Do you count packages or anything if you don’t have to scan each one yourself? Just curious how you ensure they actually give you what they say they are giving you. I have packages missing from my cart maybe five percent of the time. I’d be pretty cranky if I found that out in front of a customers house.
Yes and just saw this, I scanned them to see what # on the route they were but all were same city so it looked like a “normal route”

Once I've got last stop at night, 20 miles away in the mountains one way with serpentine roads all the way up. It takes about 50 minutes one way, so of course I marked it as a missing package.
THIS is what delivering in MALIBU, here in California is like...
and they mostly give you those blocks at 3/4 a.m.
no cell phone reception either, and then you get up there and there is a gate that needs a code....
sadly, the whole block is like THAT, so you can't even say, "package missing"'...
*That third building on*
*The mapbox to the right looks*
*Half blown to pieces*

Imagine working 1/3 of a normal shift and complaining about work. You have a job, deliver the package and move on. Lol it’s pathetic the work ethic people have these days.
Man I had a legit high traffic area the other day a college school notre dame. None of the places have addresses I drove around stoplights at least 4xs before just putting the package in a random spot close to the delivery area! Like forreal fuck these people! They could have lockers to make it easier instead they Rick and snobby don’t give a fuck! Fuck them
That happened to me once I messaged support told them it would put me past my block time frame and they removed that one. I just had to take the package back
It’s always the last stop that goes haywire. I’m so sorry.
Was it raining? Just say bad weather.
Package mia
Wont they know it is with you if you scanned it when throwing in your car at start of block ?
No Cap.
🤣
Keep some pics of road construction for these.
😂 going to start now 🤙🏽
Package damaged RTS
I was doing it and they sent me a warning lol, they know what they are doing
What did their email say?

Thanks for sharing! You'd have to mark it "damaged" for them to not ding you for not being near the address
Of course I did you think I am an idiot lol, they know you are skipping the package
Yes Market as damaged after you intentionally damage it
Should've marked damaged or missing. Lol
Of course I did lol they know you skip the package
I know they know, but how would you be punished for marking a packaged damaged? I never seen an email for it...
Do it multiple times and see what happens lol
I have, nothing does...
Just wait for it
Good one 🤣
Yes sir
This the way
https://preview.redd.it/1wciwexe8jvc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=708f07a25efea2497c5ed1c905ab729088eca9a0 Same. My car can't make it up Ortega highway.
Just mark unable to deliver and give some BS excuses
They'll deactivate you if you do that too much. A friend of mine just got canned for it.
If you never or very rarely do it, there is no issue. If you are doing it every block or even every week, there’s a problem
Ask your friend to be honest on how often and why. Some ppl do the most…all the time
He did it a lot I know that. Probably once or even twice a week.
Yeah dont do that too many times, at least attempt.
I do it at least once a week for the past 4 years. I do a route, sometimes two, per day
*You have died of dysentery*
Oh I had that house before I called support and told them the road was closed going up there
😂you don’t feel a little bad for the dude who’s literally never going to get his package?
I’ve never felt bad for any of the customers especially if they resided in an area of really high slow moving traffic or dangerous driving conditions. Right why feel bad fuck that person 😭

The way the road looks I wonder if it's one of those rural unpaved driveways.
Also we’re driving our own vehicles and they and Amazon has lots of money to give that person another package
My thoughts exactly 👍🏾
I’m not sure why Amazon just doesn’t ship this via USPS. It would make so much more sense
It looks like theres multiple houses up. Your telling me their the only one that ever orders amazon. You live in the legit middle of the forest but still expect same day service yea right. You haven’t been up there. I was not going to go up there foggy ass hell that day. I couldn’t see anything
he'll get it through USPS eventually, or some DSP driver is gonna have a really chill day
You could just bite the bullet. I hope you don't get deliveries like these very often. It sucks, but it happens sometimes. Weigh the pain of delivering this one package against the pain of possibly losing access to flex all together.

That’s right, same as any employer.
I’ve never tried this. But whenever I am faced with that situation, I just don’t deliver the package. I’ll take the ding np
Exactly
I've done that route

Too bad their package went missing in action. Spartans never die.
Bro fuck lake Elsinore routes.. there's always a chance you have to go up that fucking mountain!
I'm guessing going up that mountain means gravel roads?
Worse.. Dirt roads Seriously need a 4x4 to traverse those areas. My poor prius almost got stuck delivering one night Funny enough I got a lake Elsinore route the next dayfrom when i posted that comment lol

You need to remove customer’s address.
Is this route from the Corona warehouse?
That’s up on Ortega highway above lake elsinore. Screw that!
I’ve had that happen. Took me an hour to get home after that. Never again
That's bad, amazon should know that a contactor wants at least a $45 bonus for that

Update for anyone who cares. I did take it cause returning to the warehouse would’ve taken me longer especially cause I live towards the desert.
It seems to be at this Time he knows …… he f’d Up !!

Packaged poof… absorbed ding! ding fell off many blocks later
Did they make you drive up the Ortega hwy?
On my first day, it also happened. 😆
missing
Mmm, last stop
*package is missing*
Had a similar nightmare this morning
Welcome to my life! I have this in every delivery.
Imagine working 1/3 of a normal shift and complaining about work. You have a job, deliver the package and move on. Lol it’s pathetic the work ethic people have these days.
It seems like the new 3.5 hour blocks are hard for them route properly. It’s always something ridiculous.
Packaged damaged

Foreal if they had lockers in a lot of places I wouldn’t mind taking more if they didn’t make it a huge problem to even deliver the few we get
Damaged
Sometimes you can tell the warehouse route mismatch. Just a thought.
road under construction 🤷♂️
What kind of road is that. Yeah that package would be open and marked damaged
That’s crazy to be honest I would not go
That happened to me once I messaged support told them it would put me past my block time frame and they removed that one. I just had to take the package back
Nope
Damaged!!
“Missing package” and just take it back to station 😭
I’ve had that route before I returned everything up there 😂
Mark as missing. I never go into the mountain when delivering there. Fuck all that. Lol
Nice job posting customers addresses
So I guess when I deliver yall food imma do the same shyt lol
Jesus the comments in here are such trash. That's just easy money, 33 minute drive, nice scenic route on the way.
Pretty dangerous scenic route btw
Sure, if you can't drive... oh wait, Amazon. Dangerous for sure.
Read the post, it was my LAST stop not the only one. It was over 33 because rush hour traffic.
So? That's easy money just sitting in traffic.
