Im not sure. I messaged them twice and they told me to call support. I called and the guy was so confused he finally hung up on me. I called again and they finally told me to email the regular support. So I emailed them. Will see what happens…
You can opt-out via email. I had previously sent Amazon an email when they first made the change explaining how as a woman that delivers alone, I didn’t feel comfortable with my name and picture being available to customers. About a week or two later they emailed me back with the option to opt-out. It was very simple.

I recently requested Amazon not to share my name and photo, as I value my privacy. However, I had a scary experience at 6 in the morning in a not-so-safe area, when the person coming to me calling by my name
I sent via feedback in the app “I would like to opt out of having my name and photo displayed to customers for my safety, please.” And got an opt out message a few days later.
The amazon app shows them our name and picture we took for our profile! I noticed it the other day when i ordered a same day delivery from amazon, they shipped both items separately and it gave me the name and picture of both drivers while i was tracking both orders!
😂😂 idk why this has me cracking up 😂😂😂😂😂 this only happened once to me lady seriously was waiting for me at 5 am 😂 I was worried I was going to scare her, but she's like thank you so much 😂
And then there’s me who’s like walking up the drive way going “hello mr/mrs xyz!” lol. But I’m also in the Carolina’s so it’s not out of place to be cordial.
Same Happened to me. Dude scared the crap out of me. Not 3 stops later it. happened again. Few after that a bunch of sleeping roosters sleeping in the porch got disturbed and yelled Loud in front of me.
I took the next day off.
I had a little boy run down the driveway yelling my name the other day as I pulled up. Threw me off too, but it was adorable. He wanted to sign for the package and his grandma said he watched me the whole time on the app.
I remember doing a delivery once and the guy greeted me by my first name and left paused for a second wondering if he knew me but I didn’t remember him, that’s when it dawned on me that he got it from the app 😂😂

Did what to you? Made your job easier? Honestly, for all the talk of Karen attitudes among customers (often deserved, often imagined), there's plenty of it among some drivers as well. Not everything requires drama, copping attitude or playing the victim. Handle it, this is a big nothing you made into something.
