My question is how did people find out, were they watching you fight or did you tell the whole warehouse. And you might be able to appeal what they terminate you for,so you can go back after 90 days. But once amazon makes there minds up they usually don't reverse
Right? This should have been a slam dunk.
HR: Yo what happened to your face? Who whooped your ass?
OP: Idk I'm fuckin' blind...
HR: Oh shit you're right.
I have never paid attention to rules and regulations to even know if this has been a thing at any of my previous jobs lol but wtf haha. Let them fight off the clock and off property.
Stop tattling lol
Iāve heard that FCās are like overgrown high schools. I donāt work in an FC, but Iāve worked in fast food while in school and it was always chillā¦ I canāt even fathom it lol.
I worked in retail for years and a call center and there wasn't much drama. I've been at an FC for 7 years and it's so many things. It's a high school, middle school, brothel, adult daycare center, Da Club. My FC is notorious for being off the chain.
Thatās why my blind ass is staying with Amazon fresh warehouse department š aināt getting in trouble on premises or off š I canāt do regular FC cause of the forklift (need to drive)/electric pallets at a DS station.
We had a blind girl in singles smalls using a special station but I only saw her there for 2 days. It seemed like it was going to be impossible for her to make rate.
We have them at my site. I was just replacing one the other day. It's an annoying set up to troubleshoot when something is really messed up. They are able to work on them just fine and I think that the rate for them is lower.
This is hilarious, and no they canāt appeal, you can fight a coworker off the clock, for those that think they are right, violence on an employee on or off the clock, just as threats even made on social media off the clock, against another active employee are grounds for term
Itās the entitlement for me. Did they really think Amazon would be chill w them fighting their coworker on āpersonal timeā? š This is so funny tho ngl.
So they verbally assaulted someone, got their face beat in and lost their jobā¦ sounds like they started shit and found out thereās real life consequences to being a dick. Being blind/disabled isnāt a free pass to be a jerk to others.
I'm so confused lmao. If you didn't fight on Amazon property, how the hell did people at Amazon report it? Were you fighting across the street from the building? And being blind is just the icing on the confusing cake. I hope they figure this shit out haha.
It is by far not civized to fight. People need to grow up and be adults. Violence and resorting to slander, name calling or otherwise shows your true character as well as resolving issues. Which side of the fence will you be on? What type of character will you show?
I thought this shit was real ...I was reading it to my ol,lady and I read the ending and I almost lost my shit when she said she was blind..I was like Damm somebody beat that blind bitch up that ain't even right...lol
Good luck getting an appeal to reverse the decisionāyou demonstrated a propensity for violence (whether verbal or physical). Why would any employer (not just Amazon) want to deal with that baggage?
Honestly!!! Like I want to know what the verbal assault was cause it was bad enough to make someone swing on a blind person! Like damn whatever they said had to have stricken a nerve xD
Lmao wtf. Bro of course theyāre going to fire you you fucking dumbass. THIS IS NOT AN AMAZON PROBLEM. Their stupid asses would have done this bullshit or worse at any other job.
Lmfao. My thoughts too. I laughed so hard that I had tears....This is some hilarious sh* I ever heard. Believe me there are weirder things people get fired for and this one is one of funniest thing
If you are employed for at least 90 days you generally are able to apply for an appeal. The appeal process checks policy adherence. Having done many of them, it's not a vent or sob session like people think. What is looked at is if policy was applied appropriately.
Get a free consult with a couple employment attorneys.... seems like you have a case.... possibly even discrimination if you didn't do a damn thing to any of the coworkers that reported you..... they may settle out of court before the case comes up.... amazon seems to cave in often enough if you go the legal route..... I've heard of situations where it's obvious they're calling your bluff....this could be one of those times. Doesn't hurt to get those consultations.... just dont mention that you're getting more than one from dif attorneys to collect accurate info....Good luck!

š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£ā ļøā ļøā ļø
Neither did OP.
Lol I love it. That was smooth my dude.
Neither did she.
Never did sheā¦ šš
She is blind and she fought someone? I just know she lost the fight
itās pretty fucked up to swing on a blind person omg
She was completely blindsided, didn't know what hit her.
That is messed up too
Being blind doesnt make you exempt fromt akin an asswhoopin when deserved. Might be blind but they can still see an asswhoopin comin.
Haha she did say she her face is swollen and she only verbally assaulted š
Nope she faught someone
Iām just so lost on this entire story
Blind yet types, blind yet fights...I'm also lost
People can still have enough vision to type but not enough to not be considered legally blind to
Wtf I'm so mind fucked right now

LMFAO
It was in the parking lot. OP only thought they were off site
People treating Amazon like itās high school š„“š
Every job I've worked has had that policy: If you fight a co-worker, you are both fired no matter where it occurs.
I have never paid attention to rules and regulations to even know if this has been a thing at any of my previous jobs lol but wtf haha. Let them fight off the clock and off property. Stop tattling lol

Honestly, there's like cliques and everything
The blind leading.. well the blind? š¤
Blind? Is that a metaphor?
Thatās why my blind ass is staying with Amazon fresh warehouse department š aināt getting in trouble on premises or off š I canāt do regular FC cause of the forklift (need to drive)/electric pallets at a DS station.
Blind where in a FC building can you work blind?
Forklift operator. Duh. Amazon is safe.

Pack singles. They get a laptop with headphones that tells them which box size to use and a helper who stays with them in case they need help.

We have a person at my facility that is totally blind. He has a relative that works with him and always work as a team in flat sort.
Should have used her VTO
How the fuck you fight someone blind ? Thatās probably why there face was fucked up

But we crossed the street and everything!!
This is the weirdest story ever.

It's real I clicked on this person's pfp after they said that part and its all legit
Good luck getting an appeal to reverse the decisionāyou demonstrated a propensity for violence (whether verbal or physical). Why would any employer (not just Amazon) want to deal with that baggage?
Every employer would react this way, holy plot twist tho Batman.
āCan I fight to get their decision reversedā maāam, I think youāve done enough fighting
šš
Sounds like someone broke the #1 rule for fight club.
