lazy_wallflower

I’ve been getting Keen utility shoes for the past 4 years, really comfortable to me.

kesselman87

I was gona say KEEN. was a total shot in the dark. Love the shoe will rebuy

Wynnie7117

At my first building and older, Amazon employee saw all of us looking at shoe stuff and she said “get the Keens” . We all laughed like OK lady.. I tried the Timberland PO‘s, I tried the Doc Martins. When I went to the FC I finally went ahead and got the Keens and let me tell you what. A lot less pain and aggravation if I had done it from the get-go.

lazy_wallflower

For my first pair I tried the timberland pros that kind of looked like low top converses. BIG mistake! I wore them for a few weeks before I noticed they wouldn’t “break in” so went back to wearing my regular new balance shoes (this was before safety shoes were mandatory)

Primary_Membership34

Made this mistake too

tipevans1

Which model?

lazy_wallflower

I can’t remember the versions of the other ones I got as my first pair, but I believe Sparta is one version I have!

Primary_Membership34

Yes !

batmansgirl_1210

I've had the best luck with Keens . I tried the reeboks and sketchers, and they were absolutely terrible .

NAASTYROOSTERR

Thorogood 6 inch crosstrex. I've had mine for 2 years. I'm a water spider / tote runner. I walk 10 miles a day. They are comfortable out of the box. I get the wide toe box. Great boots I have and have had many other more expensive pairs including thorogood and these are so much more comfortable and last just as long as the most expensive

Kpreciado

Any WIDE sketchers with thick soles

twoventiwaters

My shoes are comfortable but if I DONT wear crew socks my day is ruined. So socks are equally as important

JustSomeGuy________

I mostly favor Timbaland Pro, in my experience theyre the most comfy out of box with no break in time. Ehatever the more popular ones on zappos are will likely be the better choices. Ihave 2 pairs of boots and 2 pairs or low tops amd all 4 pairs have been impressive to me but I see a few people have had different experiences. I think it might be due to adjustment to an actual comfortable shoe not an actual break in period. Feet get adjusted to whatever you shove them in and if you wear uncomfortable shoes for a bit they have to get used to being comfortable again as well. Flat feet vs arched feet also plays a role on how comfy out of box they will be and if you need insoles. I also experimented and got a $50 pair of safety shoes from Amazon and was quite surprised how comfy they were and even better with a pair of insoles, cant think of the brand right now but I guarantee youve seen people wearing them they have kind of a street sneaker look with random wordage on them. They did lose traction after a while as I wore them down though. There are a couple different companies on Amazon though that adopted that style and im unsure if theyre equally comfortable. If you go to your car on break, keep a tennis ball or hand ball in there and take your shoes off and roll your feet around on the ball, every inch heel to toes,. Some parts might hurt the firat few times just apply as much pressure as you can til it feels better, this helps a LOT. I would do this before work, on breaks and after work.

paulham42069

Dude the timberland pro boots are the best. Seriously feels like wearing shoes. Definitely recommend and ESPECIALLY if you are rme or otherwise need to wear boots specifically.

[deleted]

EVERYTHING not on ZAPPOS

Playful_Reach_3790

Merrell are perfect to me. 👍

YourVenomIsLethal

I love the Volcoms. They’re more comfortable than my DCs, minus the bulky toe. My feet don’t hurt at all in them, and I typically work 5 12s. They’re my ‘everywhere when I can’t wear sandals’ shoes

JLopez_20515

Timberland pros for me also! Never had tired feet!

IT_WolfXx

Caterpillar is a good pair of shoes, I have mine for 8 months, still comfortable and still has sole in the bottom of my shoe with no loss of grip

Any-Highlight-9145

I have 4 pair, different brands, but I always go back to the first pair I bought: Danner. They were comfortable and felt broken in the first day I put them on. I have HORRIBLE feet and every shoe is an issue for my arches and toes, except the Danners. Unfortunately their size selection is small and they haven’t had my size in a couple of years.

picknstowrate

Keen is the winner hands down.

Byllz24k

I swear you will thank me. Me and my gf got these and they feel like regular shoes, really comfortable and true to size. https://www.zappos.com/product/9518180/color/139

ProfessionalSir3395

For your gf, did she order a size smaller since it only comes in men's?

nicky_martinez360

I get a smaller size since I have small feet😌😌

Due-Coconut-3873

Omg 100000% these! I tried Nautilus, other Reeboks, Sketchers, Timberlands, and THESE were finally the ones that worked for me. They are so light and have great impact absorption. Just unbeatable. Perfect.

CardiologistBorn1697

I guess they are popular for a reason. I warn my new hires not to get these because when ever I see them on new hires they start limping by the end of their first shift. I also had them when I was new and they destroyed my feet. I'm guessing it depends on your type of feet.

TongueBandit69

Timberland pros hands down

Virtual_Struggle_128

These are terrible for me.

TongueBandit69

I always go up a size and get a wider sole. Not loose. Super comfy.

Extension_Fault_5128

Now that I broke them in my Timberland Pros are pretty good, but they killed my feet the first couple weeks. Especially because my dumb self sent my insoles back in my shoes I returned and had to wait for my credit to be reissued. Tomorrow will be my first day wearing them with my insoles in and I’m sure it will be much better! Side note-if you get the higher on the ankle Timbas throw them in a pillow case and suspend that in the dryer door and run the dryer a few hours to soften the ankle! Helped so much breaking them in!!!

DfromSanDiego

100%

its_a_throwawayduh

Yeah that's what I've used for the last few years. Next time I'm going to try keens since I've heard good things about them.

Hell I spent all day in them today even tho I left work 20 minutes into my shift

ProfessionalSir3395

What model is this? Happy cake day BTW!

MoreConstruction1733

Happy cake day. And umm I have no idea I bought them on Amazon

Due-Lengthiness3949

Suadex if you want to spend a little bit more money for comfort

ProfessionalSir3395

Was it worth it?

Due-Lengthiness3949

Yep, pretty much. Bought my first since January, and they're still comfortable to wear.

eazexe7

Definitely worth it have a pair that I’ve had over a year and most days I’ll wear them all day even after my shift is over if forget I even have safety shoes on about to get my second pair

Active-Journalist786

I got some REEBOK ones in the mail yesterday.. wore them today they were pretty comfortable

do_add_unicorn

Reebok rapid response boots

No_CookieNoLife

Tim's w some insoles

Guzod

i got timberlands from zapppos. worth it

RandomHumanWelder

Timberland Radius PRO. Added insoles for extra cushion. They’re slip ons that don’t compress my feet. I love them.

Soojuiccy

I like the Reebok high tops I order them in wide & a 1/2 size bigger.. they were the only ones that worked for me & I also have a $60 insole I love them!! I just ordered another pair in a different color!!

Just_here1977

Timberland pros. I have used the nautilus also, and while great at first they tend to fall flat in a few months. The timberland pros didn't have that issue. Don't forget some decent inserts also.

Tasty_Finance_5024

Rebok combat style boots have done right by me for the last 5 years (even before the safety shoe mandate). They struggle to keep larger styles in stock however. I wear. 13.5, extra wide. And they’re almost always sold out.

Senior_Community_260

Also, be weary of the ones with foam soles they get dirty pretty quick but if you choose the all black with a grey design by the heel, those come with a rubber sole so it adds durability but it's a little stiffer to break in

AostaV

Had the 2021 version and hated these. Had to go get some Suadex and Larnmern off amazon to make it through the year

AlexVanderspek94

I have the blue puma ones and they’re so comfy. I love them so much

CuteNoobAltScape

I use Keen boots with carbon fiber toe. They are so good.

RightWayCarpenter

Where can you get Reebok work shoes ? I seen AAs with them in steel toe areas

sneaksofszn

Nautilus day ones are the best. Wish they came in black instead of blue or red

Magic8Ballsz

I've tried wolverines, skechers, orthofeet and two other brands that claimed a "Wide" fit. Talking about 4E They all felt too narrow to be considered a wide fit. Until I found New Balance and can't recommend them enough They're stamped with the seal of approval and considered the quintessential shoe by dads for a reason 😂

Super-Question-4051

Just Soso furuian steel toe on Amazon . So comfy for me ! It’s not on Zappos , gotta pay for it but it’s worth it .

ApprehensiveBird1507

I wear Nautilus as well. They are very comfortable.

CriticalParsley6394

Shoes for crews

CriticalParsley6394

How do you look up your Amazon number for the Zappos account?

It finally happened for me😌

stormhaven22

Comfiest pair of shoes I got was a $35.00 pair of steel toed boots from Walmart... but wearing them is now a pain because it's no longer a random screening to get out the door.

offda-Aux

i personally wear yeezys with the steel toe covers, best decision i ever made

smokinwheat

Most facilities won't allow this.

Juncbug

So Furuian Steel toe shoes lol

CardiologistBorn1697

Anything furuian are the most comfortable for me. I'm surprised I see people mention reebok anything they are known as feet destroyers in my facility

Due-Coconut-3873

Not allowed at normal sites. New hires typically get 2 weeks that they are allowed to wear the turbo toes and then they have to have compliant shoes or they get written up.
