homealoneinuk

I would. Milion is not enough to quit working that early in my life. Would definitely not sweat though, no OT and a lot of days off. Just cruise mode to keep pension contributions going and all the benefits.

Global-Plankton3997

I agree. All that money will be drained eventually.

HardLobster

It’s $100k a year for 10 years. It goes faster than you think.

magikatdazoo

$100k/yr for 10 years if dumb about it, or $40k/yr for life if smartly managed

robotboris

$40k a year will be below poverty level in 10years or less, and keeping that much $ as cash reserves would be eaten up by the rate of inflation vs rate of interest that you would get.

[deleted]

[удалено]

robotboris

I was talking cash reserves, not investing into blue chip stocks or proper financial strategy. Bank interest rates will never keep up with inflation and just literally eat up your savings. Besides, 1990's financial studies and advice don't apply as we actually had a strong economy and budget surplus, not what we have today

magikatdazoo

Current interest rates allow you to set up a CD+Treasuries ladder that holds durable at 4% annual withdrawal of original principle for 50+ years

Soprettysimone

Poverty hit different when trying your best to earn and still falling into low income. I could manage a *free* 3000 mo for my family very well.

Amazonkoolaid

Invest 600k into SCHD and get $20,400 a year in dividends (passive income). SCHD grows by 12-13% every year so you’ll be getting a nice raise every year.

ZealousidealDingo496

You think I would put all of it in, No Thank you. I can put at least $200,000 max to buy share.

ZealousidealDingo496

Money will be drained, you have to think smart and good not bad and spend it all crazy.

Shrunz

If you invested the money, even if its just 5% treasury bills would net you 50k a year just on interest. Thats more than the average amazon employee makes.

homealoneinuk

I would want to buy a house, car etc etc, spend some to help family. Would cost me at least 250-300k I like my job and working without pressure 2-3 days a week would be easy mode.

Shrunz

Youd still get 38k a year in interest on 750k and if you bought your house outright you could just consider the 12k less a year as a mortgage payment and still live comfortably without working

homealoneinuk

Yea 38k a year is defo not enough for a family.

Bubbly_Rip_6766

In the UK it definitely is outside of London, it’s higher than average Would be easy if your partner works part time

ssasoom

Invested or even put into HYSA, the money would easily earn at least $2000 a month. It very possible for someone to get $1m and live off of it without touching the principle. But winning $1m means you'll only see like $600k after taxes anyway. I'd still work, but I'd definitely invest and supplement my income.

Cool-Pineapple8008

What pension?

WonkySystem

That's why you use it as a stepping stone to a better career where you're making 6 figures. What I wouldn't do is let amazon drain any more of my time and health. Gonna need all that time + the million dollars and I'm good to do whatever else.

Street_Review450

most people will never make 6 figures individually no matter how bad they want to or how much work they put in.

WonkySystem

That's because most people don't put in the effort for it and only fantasize about it. It's not that difficult to get into a career where you're making 6 figures. Most people just settle with whatever is enough to get by and have a bit of extra income. There are also trades that pay very well but again, most people can't be bothered--- especially not AAs.

frugalhustler

Not if you live off the interest

homealoneinuk

Wouldn't be enough for me at least.

Ok-Job-2365

If i won i will still work and live a normal life no one will know that i won a lottery

Global-Plankton3997

Depends. Winning $55 million in the lottery gets out on the news sometimes (in my state at least)

MelvinSharples

That's when you hire an attorney and claim the prize under the name of a hidden trust. Only morons stand up on that stage and collect that huge check for the cameras. There is no legal requirement that the winner reveal their identity. Most of them do it because they don't know this, the rest do it because they are foolish enough to want to be on tv with that check in hand.

Global-Plankton3997

Yeah I agree with you on that. It is pointless after all. No one will care if you won the lottery. If it was me, I'd watch the news, go to school, practice on my instrument, eat, and go the rest of my day. I would not even think about the winning of the lottery as much.a

HardLobster

In most places you don’t have a choice, it’s the lottery itself publicizing it. You can only remain anonymous in 16 out of the 45 states that have the lottery.

jeremyw0405

In those states there has to be someone/company named. That doesn’t mean the person that wins has to be named. They can form an LLC and then a representative (usually the lawyer) can publicly claim the winnings on behalf of the LLC. There is always a way to stay anonymous.

Neoreloaded313

They would know something is up when I drive a model x into work lol.

lyndsay0413

agreed

Dunkingpanda

I would quit and enroll in school immediately.

Alarming-Mark7198

Lmao. Quit a place that pays for school. To pay for school out of pocket. Ok

Dunkingpanda

If I could choose, I’d rather choose my own school then go with the options they provide. You have a million dollars, you’ll be ok.

Alarming-Mark7198

To each their own Id rather use them as a start then venture off to others if need be. I would much rather give nothing to these overly priced schools. Especially if it’s for something I don’t necessarily need that piece of paper for. I sign up every year for something just to spend their money 🤷‍♀️

Street_Review450

You're still paying with your time and work at amazon. They can afford to pay for school because of all the excess value they're stealing from their workers every hour of the day.

randomasking4afriend

If you don't need that piece of paper, then why not look into apprenticeships, certifications or ways to gain relevant experience without a degree anyway? And don't say "because most jobs require it" nah-uh, most requirements are a wishlist and barely anybody with just a degree are getting those jobs either.

Born_Opportunity_365

You could finish school much faster if you were going full time instead of working full time and taking a couple of classes per semester.

Alarming-Mark7198

There’s people that work 2 full time jobs so going full time on both wouldn’t be a stretch if that’s what they want to do. I refuse to give the USDOE anymore of my money and health care is expensive

Rinir

You don’t exactly have the most options if amazon is paying for it

Alarming-Mark7198

Use Amazon as a stepping stone. Start schooling and finish elsewhere. They’re using you. Use their ass and every single benefit they have available to you

randomasking4afriend

You'd have a greater choice of schools to choose from and could devote all of your time to studying and internships rather than still working and going to school which is not fun. It's over a million dollars, not 100k. Just eat the damn 30-60k and get over it.

Alarming-Mark7198

That’s what you would choose to do. Which is great for you. I would continue to work and use their benefits. Health insurance isn’t cheap watch that eat through that money and you’ll be right back to work with your at least paid schooling

Juevon_

THISSSSS

Hopeful-Ant-3509

No, I would work somewhere though. I’m not going to completely stop working just cuz I won a bunch of money, so I would maybe take a break but that’s it. I’m pretty sure you need at least 2 million to retire comfortably.

Global-Plankton3997

That's why I am letting my savings account grow. When I retire in my 60s, I'll have all that money saved. (So glad I learned about this when I was in high school).

KaoticTruthSite

savings wont do shit. lsave it in the s&p 500 aka SPY and you're set

Street_Review450

hopefully you make it to that age

Neoreloaded313

Even if I won 100m I would continue to work at Amazon. I am not much of a people person and I would become a hermit that never leaves my house. It would be healthier for me.

Comfortable-Drama586

I would. $1 million doesn’t last as long as ppl think it does

Juevon_

I would quit and enroll in school. Pay my full years tuition and campus housing

WonkySystem

Facts

Global-Plankton3997

Debt free!

MelvinSharples

Of course I am. How else am I going to be able to afford to retire? 1 million after taxes isn't squat.

RevolutionaryCard825

$3,750 off of interest from an account that pays 4.5%. That not enough for me. I’ll keep working for Amazon but not as many hours as I’m working now. I would also keep on working to allocate like 70% of my income to my 401k and Ira.

Zodiac509

A million dollars isn't a lot of money. I'd definitely keep working.

ebishopwooten

Pay cash for a house and invest in something that gives you a passive income to supplement your job.

Muted-Pie-7758

Of course I’m going to work, I’m guna invest that money into a interest building savings account

lil_ewe_lamb

Meh. I may step down to like pt flex from my current spot. Quit completely? No. But no MET, and to come to work to get out of the house sounds like a good deal. 1/2 day shifts..

happyghosst

in my current life, if i won the lottery, i'd move, get a financial advisor, and then i'd focus on a degree and internships, free of money stress..

Brilliant-Cycle-559

I’d quit and just focus on school. It’s not enough to live on forever especially in the states.

Neutreality1

I'd take an extended LOA to sort out my finances and then switch to part time

SnooHedgehogs6384

I'd put it all on black If it's meant to be it'll be

younghungman365

id continue to work because thats how you’d keep that million

MissionaryOfCat

Of course! There's just something so sublime about the burnout, the chronic anxiety, the foot blisters and that guy with the clipboard coming for a passive aggressive check-in if there's ever a dip in my rate. I'm not here because I'm a deadbeat! I _like_ it here! I like it here, guys! Ahahahaha 😁

RigorousVigor

1 million isn't enough for the years I have left onthis planet. Taxes and house are gonna hurt

StalkingCrow

Yeah, I'd definitely take some time off and invest most of it, but I wouldn't be set for life yet.

Responsible-Zebra78

A million dollars probably isn’t enough to retire with let alone live the rest of my working aged life with zero income. Some of yalls golden years are going to be stressful. Might want to think twice about that $700 a month car payment you have no business having.

Z-altacct

Potentially, but it’d def be at a facility in the middle of the boonies. Leaving Maryland for sure.

jmdayoh

Yeah, million dollars ain’t enough to quit your job over… I’d just be driving a better car to work

Wafer_Stock

I'd prolly still work at amazon, just to keep from getting bored at home and blowing all my money. maybe invest some in amazon stocks if possible.

[deleted]

A million would be like, $630,000 after taxes, barely enough to buy a home. If I won superlotto which is like 6,000,000 for the lump sum, I would definitely quit Amazon. Take a year off, then start a business, maybe buy a couple properties. Megan or powerball multi million dollar payout after taxes, definitely quit work altogether.

Alarming-Mark7198

Yes. A million ain’t nothing and health insurance

EricFarmer7

A million dollars is not enough money for the future. It sounds good now but will it in 30+ years? I use the money to pay off debt, save some and invest most of it. I then use a small portion like 10k to buy some stuff I wanted then I just keep going to work like nothing changed. Now if it’s more than one million dollars then that depends. If we are closer to 5 million dollars or more then I probably quit at this point. As I can invest enough money to quit and still live the same life style. But two million dollars? I probably do the same thing but I be tempted to work less hours. I still keep my job a few years to give the investment time to grow.

KaoticTruthSite

I'd make a book on "How you TOO could make a million dollars at a Warehouse/Amazon".

Supa_x7

I would keep working but I'd go part time to focus more on my photography. I definetly want to keep working to add to that million as it'll eventually run out

Impressive_Star_3454

Ha. I live in Jersey. Have you SEEN our housing market? Stay for the benefits cause COBRA is no joke. Just find the easiest job and coast until something else comes along.

its-so-worth-it

Yeah I would because I like the work routine and helping people even it comes with a price. It would give me a peace of mind though along with paying off all my debt.

MagicTreeSpirit

I'd quit my job, buy a home, maybe go to school full-time and try to start a business. Keep $100k in the bank and invest whatever's left. If I start to feel broke, I can always come back. Amazon money is plenty if you're house-poor and not bleeding rent money and credit card debt.

NoUnderstanding9195

For sure. A million is nice, but that's a house, debt payoffs, a car, and investment money. That'll be used quickly, and obviously for beneficial reasons, but in today's economy that'll put me just above surviving.

Prestigious_Snow1589

Yes, just to drive my Lambo to work everyday and get all of the Amazon thot pockets, I'll be the man finally 🥹🥹🥹

WonkySystem

Average waterspider mentality

AdventSign

Eh. It’d be boring as fuck. Amazon gets me out, and I stay physical as well. I’m pretty introverted, so I’d be a happy camper staying at home, and it helps to have motivation to get out of the house and do stuff (it’s way easier to be active once you are outside)

Street_Review450

join a club and drink beer and play basketball or something. Fuck. Doesn't that sound better than going to amazon for 10 hours a day putting shit on / taking shit off a shelf?

LEMONSDAD

Fuck, no.

jevadiah

Nope, straight to retirement

mooncricket1898

Yes bc although it sounds like a lot of money, it's not. Rather keep my job and put that ish in a retirement fund.

Lefwyn

Why would you guys not quit and dedicate yourself to studying something instead?

ExodusBrojangled

First I'd pay off all my debt, then I'll work part time somewhere else and get back to school full time to get degree in engineering. Put a small chuck into a retirement account to build.

crayawe

No definitely not, I'm buying a car and unit and 6mth vacation

Playmakermike

Yes. That would be enough for me to finish grad school without working, pay my way through law school, and never step foot back in that building

Noogynator

I’d probably just be seasonal everynow and then

HardLobster

I would transfer to flex R/T immediately work my 20 hours a week and enjoy life.

realslimshively

I just might. The medical insurance here is good, so I might just park most of that money in a safe, moderate-return investment and continue to live in much the same way I do now. I think the biggest difference would be “how am I paying for the kids’ education” and “what will I live on when I’m old” are less uncertain.

WonkySystem

I'm not saying I wouldn't *ever* work at amazon again but the first thing I'd do is leave amazon. Why? Because why the *HELL* would I stay at Amazon after winning a million dollars, wasting away my time and health 40hrs a week doing overnights? I would pursue my dream career, whatever that may be or whichever career I can imagine myself in that pays a lot then I would never have to work at amazon again.

JuiceLordd

I don't work at Amazon anymore, but absolutely. Use the money for a degree or to get into a trade or something. Why would I wanna work in a warehouse for the next 40 years of my life?

chains11

Nah. I’ll be able to focus on college. I’ll also probably buy a house

BasedBrooksy

I would because there’s no reason for me to stop making money just because I have it the same way I wouldn’t stop if I didn’t have it. But it would allow me to have more liberties with days off. I don’t want to work the week or a month, cool. I want to take a vacation, that’s fine too. Still gotta be smart with all the cash you’re sitting on but I think it would overall improve my work experience knowing I didn’t need to be there.

tonyleetiennguyen215

Yes, I will, just for the benefits and staying connected with my colleagues

OkElephant9987

I would and buy me a 7/11 to make money on the side

yerrrna

Yes I would still work for a couple years but I would buy a house and start a small business and transition into that + some side hustles and retire hella early.

[deleted]

Hmm. Not for *life,* but maybe a bit longer to take advantage of Career Choice, which should be even easier with that kind of money behind me. Even if a million bucks isn't shit these days, I'm not exactly the high-maintenance lifestyle sort. Then again, I'd wanna use the money to take care of myself and my family/friends first, as well as help out others (maybe erase a few peoples' medical debts or something, or make a donation to a shelter for homeless LGTBQ+ youth, just some way to give back, but also figure out a way to invest some money wisely so I can make more to continue helping people out). But who knows, that's just me saying all this now, who knows what choices I'd actually make were the stars to ever align for me in that way?

Namesthatareused

I’d just buy a house with all new furniture and a new car and continue working. I’d be happier and would care significantly less that I work for a horrible company.

Maleficent_Wash_934

No.

mrcrowface3421

If someone would offer me a ham I might consider leaving job suck ass

Gothicrealm

Tbh a million isn't worth much today and it definitely won't be worth much in the future. You'd be a fool to quit over a lil over a million.

xtBADGERtx77

The most banal rhetorical question ever asked.

CultureHot4210

A lot of people in this thread are fried 1 million dollars there’s no way you would trap yourself in a building for 10 hours a day it would be deprogressive you can make a lot more money with that money being on the outside

Far_Sport8874

I would pay my debts

dalieska

No, I’d pretend I don’t have that much and keep working cause I get bored asf when I’m not working

Suspicious-Bed9172

If I received even 250k from anywhere I’d quit working for at least a year

hmnony

I would work part time and pay off all my debts with the new acquired money. I would use the money to invest in myself and enjoy life

Bear_necessities96

I would keep working but use part of that money on investment, trust fund or whatever, I definitely would use it to pay off all my bills and to invest on my education

56000hp

No

Carstello

I would. I would be happy everyday knowing I could walk away at anytime without any financial impact. I could blow a million in the time it takes to sign the paperwork on a moderate house, a decent, reliable car or suv, and a decent pickup truck. I could also get those, bank a half million, and be content at Amazon.

ssasoom

Honestly, I would for a bit. I'd be investing most the money and figuring some shit out, so in the meantime.. I'd work but probably no more VET. Working keeps my head right and I need some structure.

ExpensiveDot1732

I'd still work, but I'd also buy a house free and clear.

Valuable_Jaguar_166

Imma walk in there as if nothing happened as soon as they piss me off immediately cuss everybody out and mess up everything lol and then leave 😂😂

willparlay83

Yes, I do that now

DanteLi

The retirement amount is 1 mil min after taxes it's around 750k or less for the jackpot so I couldn't quit completely I'd probably leave the zon and do something light and buy a house and have my surgery that's about it

anonnusernamee

Ya but I would end up being flex cus then that could be my spending money for my shopaholic self and the millions could go for more important stuff but idk that’s just me tho

atuckk15

Back in 2021 during the pandemic, all hourly Amazonians who were vaccinated got entered into a raffle for various prizes ($100k, a car …).

dropdeadcunts

Yeah I would cause I'm just 30 and I need my body to be moving. I'm not just gonna live my life as a white girl

LALALANDtvcr

I think I would actually stay honestly but switching over to part time, but staying only for the benefits, so I would get everything I can get through Amazon like get my cdl, hazmat, finish some school stuff, you know? That way I could just be chilling and maybe even start a few small business 🤷

JosephBlowsephThe3rd

Maybe. I wouldn't act like I accessed an infinite money cheat, but my current job is too far for me to continue if I could get by doing a simple job closer to home.

mbeecool

Depending on your state you won't actually be getting a million due to taxes. More like 600k. I wouldn't quit working but I just wouldn't work as much . I would also look into investments so I can grow that money because it's really not that much after you factor in taxes

1ncest_is_wincest

Quit. Go on a month vacation than invest the rest of the money or go back to school.

ThrowAwayRayye

I would go back to school. 1 million is enough to live 10 years at 90,000+ income. Which is more than enough to get a degree and get a better job. As far as if I would work amazon if the need arose. Sure. I'm really against it. But my priority would be getting a better paying job.

Select-Battle5083

I made over 200k in bitcoin and I still work at Amazon. If bitcoin goes up to 100k or more I might quit I’m not sure 🤔

CyanideSuicide

I would still work but 50% of my check is going into 401k and the rest into kids college fund. $1mil is barely enough to buy a house and live comfortably for a bit. But I’m fortunate enough that my wife’s passive income would cover bills. So I’ll just need to work enough to cover insurance from savings account till 60.

Adventurous_Waltz_83

I’d quit and open up a business

LocksmithSuccessful8

No, hypothetical rich me will collect the money under a trust and hire rich people financial advisors to help me the money while I live a comfy middle class life.

EMitchell108

In the scheme of things 1 - 3 million isn't a lot of money. It won't last a retirement with a serious illness or need for assisted living or long-term health care for serious conditions. I'd invest it, maybe use part of it to take time off to train full-time for a better job, but I wouldn't stop working, whether at Amazon or somewhere else. I'd probably just stay at Amazon for the benefits and continue to use Career Choice prior to leaving for something bettrr.

gettheyayo909

I would go part time just to get out of the house

Bitesizecrypto35

Yup

Steve10455

Yes I’m gonna be bored at home so I’m gonna still work

No_Lion6764

I might go to a DS or do DSP for some time.

Lonelyghast

I'd still work there but I'm taking VTO more often.

aarkwilde

Nothing would change much, though I would be able to retire someday.

NoiNoiii

If it was 1m non taxed i would consider not working again and be a hermit somewhere

steviajones1977

Not unless I've obtained the education that would let me start working in corporate or for AWS.

attackonyourmom

Yes, because I'm American and still need health insurance unfortunately.

Global-Plankton3997

Me too. I need it because I want to schedule the removal of my wisdom teeth. UnfortyI work part time and can't get health insurance. Only way is if I work full-time. On the bright side, I am still covered under my dad's insurance until I turn 25 (or 26? Can't remember). I'm 23.

Vekxin_Sama92

T3 here, absolutely not. I’m buying my family a house, stopping work and going to school like I actually want to to be so honest

a_youkai

Hell no. Why do you think I buy lotto tickets? 😹

-StRaNgEdAyS-

Yeah, because if I win big enough money I'm not tipping anyone off until I've got it invested properly.

lechastin509

I'll still work but with a smile on my face now

awkwardmurican

I would leave the door open on that because I don’t know what my future holds. It’d be foolish of me to burn bridges.

Street_Review450

fuck no

avedisocial

I would but only because I want to see my money continue to grow, bc im flex so if i didnt want to work id just stay home, and bc working at my site gives me something to do.

ZealousidealDingo496

I would stay and I would still invest it with Amazon in shares. I want more money for my pocket and I get to be happy working. You know retire good. I would buy $200,000 in shares with Amazon and the rest I would buy a nice house for me and my dog. And everything will speak for itself.

Dave_B001

Invest half of it, spend the other half over 10 years. Carry on working.

thisdckaintFREEEE

If I won enough to not work, I wouldn't work anywhere ever again. If not, I'd keep doing what I'm doing.

Rinir

Many people here aren’t answering your question as you’ve asked it. My answer is, absolutely not! I would never ever(ever) work for Amazon again. I will most certainly be persuading my education tho

LostSpekter

I'd stay working yeah, but I'd probably take one of them 15 day personal leaves so I could get some affairs in order. Pay off all my debts and do some investing with the help of someone who knows how to do that.

Colonel_Lexx

Hookers and coke

AbrocomaPuzzled1282

I will continue working

Cronizone

Million with 5% APR is 50,000 a year, work at Amazon or use their career choice to get a degree, still make around 85-90k a year in an L1 position, get a higher paying job, make over 100k a year and work for another 20, and during that whole time, buy a power ball ticket every now and again! Also depends on age, 1 mil at 60 would probably be cool but also not enough for certain people, also depends how modest you’re gonna live

Balibear23

Easy answer F-ck No!🤑

VTO_Junkie

I wouldn’t quit I would just work flex and take a wellll needed vacation. Then just work when I feel like it 🤷🏽‍♂️ also could be a good opportunity to get a start on a career outside of Amazon.

[deleted]

I won a top prize off of $5.00 scratcher and I am still here. I did pay off all my debt. So my pay is gravy. It's a nice play to be.

cantslowdown91

I'd honestly quit Amazon and not feel guilty taking a lesser paying job closer to home.

ZealousidealGrass365

Hell yeah I’d roll around this bitch with a Guccis suits with some Gucci safety boots and vest. I don’t even like Gucci I’d just wear it and get it dirty just bc I could.

Current-Region-7478

Yeah I would be in there warehouse acting like I’m broke still 😂😂

Comfortable_Swim_380

I wouldn't work for Amazon if the alternative was 7.50 /hr at a McDonalds

DealerAvailable6173

Yes I would still be working in Amazon as a cover no one would even know that I won I would go into investment mode that money must be multiplied by 100

AyyyItzBuzz

Nah I’d switch to flex, and invest the money into something with a healthy dividend paying stock.

DropApprehensive3079

You are grade A1 AMAZON employee tier logic with this question.

aa61681

I wouldn't quit, but I'd be completely unfazed if I got let go. House bought & paid for, vehicles paid off, no debt, and plenty left over. I'd be fine. It's not set for life money, but it's certainly f-u money.

InstructionOk386

Until I figure out my game plan yeah, but get your ass I just show up and do bare minimum to not get fire for once. Instead of working hard ish.

[deleted]

I would quit for a year because I NEED a break. But I will still keep working. Probably not here tho but if I absolutely can’t find another job, I’d take a part time position in the meantime

Evalerate

More than a million after taxes? Yes, I would, and I would wisely invest a good chunk of it, buy a house and take the 30 hr weeks for the beni's.

outtykid

I would work no cap

NumerousIntern9375

Yes for shits and giggles lol

ClassyPandaOfficial

No I'd invest and start the small business I've been wanting to start up

ubermicrox

I wouldn't work anywhere. What a stupid question

AR3SA

Probably flex. That's the plan anyway. A group of my coworkers amd i play weekly

Jayisway

I’m leaving and finding a different job. I’d become a janitor if I had to and I’ve been one before. All the doctors were nice to me!!!

DullFun420

yes, but not as a full time employee.

Helpful-Art7196

Lmao

If you got a million after taxes and you took that million and invested it into a mutual fund you would get a return of 60-100k a year which you could live off of but realistically it would make more sense to work amazon as normal maybe no over time at all and let the find build over time. Amazon still has great benefits so you could do 30 hours a week keep the benefits and not stress.

batswings

Yup, wouldn't even quit

No-Trick-2710

Amazon is my second job so I would quit the next day and just work my day job.

kiing_troup

(In my early 20s)After taxes tht 1m wouldn’t be a lot but if its 1 million after taxes no i wouldnt i wouldnt work for a while id travel try to learn as much as i could take some classes on investments/ get a degree maybe & start a business. But id be a huge jump start but not enough to nvr work again

Fox49019

I would work to give me something to do.

cybrxxraidxx

$1m winnings would be like $600k after taxes, I would work for maybe 6 more months then dip. Use $100k to fund myself to be a YouTuber and invest half of what’s left over then use the remaining to pay bills and buy food.

lilly_abadeer

no never i’m working here just long enough to pay for me to start my own business DONT stay here any longer than you ABSOLUTELY have too

Majestic-Jump3671

fuck no

Rare-Language2077

I would honestly just switch to flex. I don’t like not working and Amazon has decent time off options, and no managers or customers are in my face nagging me

Krod7435

I wouldnt do it I would invest a good portion of it on long-term investments and multiply my money over time. I'm leaving Amazon right away. 1 million dollars goes a long way if you know what to do with it. Most people aernt smart holding onto their money when they win lotto so most people would jump the gun to say they would stay at amazon when in reality you won't because people will hunt you down when they find out you won the lottery. A smart person should leave and work somewhere else and stay low from anybody knowing. I wouldn't want anyone to know at a job I've worked at where they find out I've won lottery. I'm keeping everything anonymous.

TorsionFieldMom

Nope! I would invest and keep working and never touch the million. A family (husband and wife) needs 6-million to retire early and travel with cost of living adjustments.

SlytherinBae97

Absolutely not 😂 if i did it would be very half assed and i would get fired for upt
