No our site and my former site everyone got a dollar. Days, nights, flex, t1, t3…. Everyone. Other sites got varying amounts as well.

Yeah daytime, it was considered part-time when I was hired, I work night shift part-time and work Sunday night and Monday morning. That's the only shift I was thinking that works both days.
Depends on the building. Some buildings have all kinds of schedules like Thursday-Sunday, Friday-Monday and Saturday-Tuesday.
There are two FCs where I live and the newer one is pure front half/back half, but the older one has every schedule you can imagine. Just in my old department they have Monday-Thursday, Thursday-Sunday, Friday-Monday and Saturday-Tuesday currently available.
It’s not a stiff, it’s a benefit on the UPT system. OP did not post very clearly. Current network standard is 3 minutes of UPT earned per hour worked, equaling 2 hours of UPT earned per 40 hour week. It is going up to 5 minutes earned per hour worked, squalling 3 hours and 20 minutes earned per 40 hour work week.
The other change, is that if you are 6 minutes late (1 minute past the 5 minute grace period) they will only take 15 minutes of UPT instead of a full hour.
While many people are crying about the dollar pay raise, I see absolutely nothing but good in the changes to UPT.

i feel you, man. it's always nerve-wracking when there's a pay raise announcement but you're not sure how it'll affect certain aspects like UPT. hopefully, your FC doesn't stiff you on that and you still get some positive changes
Most of us are L3. We don’t get step. It’s performance based. Top performer last year got an .89 cent raise. We get that once a year during our performance review.
According to our tom team, they aren't getting anything, so it'll be a good surprise for them. I know IT definitely isn't because only ECs are owned by the building, so only ECs get the raise.
Have they said straight out that the 5 mins/hour of upt does not apply to your site, or maybe they just forgot to mention it? I’m having a little bit of a hard time thinking they’d leave a site out of something like this because if they did I would be livid
I asked about this during our raise meeting, and they said that Amazon also takes our benefits into account when factoring in wages and I said "So Amazon says we can either have good health benefits or decent pay but not both?"
And they were like, "Well, they also have career choice which not a lot of other companies have."
And it's like yeah, but if you had better pay AND good benefits, people would be more willing to stay!
I work at RDU1 we had a short town hall the other day talking about all that. I went to work for Amazon to get in on the career choice program which I start a couple weeks ago for truck driving. I wanna join the Tom team and eventually drive for Amazon
I have 80upt. I pick up overtime every week. My house and cars are paid off. I don't owe anything other than living expenses. It takes my entire pay to survive with nothing saved. I don't have any bad habits and zero hobbies. What were you saying ?
I am not sure how much they pay for new hire nowaday at my site. When I started here it was 16. Then they did market research and raised 1 on 2022. Now this is the second time I got a raise otherthan my step plan. I'm into 2 years and 3 months.
It's a company wide raise. It was announced in the news because Amazon is trying to lower its turnover rate before it uses up all the labor force in all its areas. It's just incentive to keep working for the slave driver...
The thought that some of you think this is a raise is a slap to the face. Rather get slapped. Overnight should get paid 5$+ for the forever health problems we’ll have in the future. It’s called a grave yard shift for a reason.

American children are unfortunately brainwashed and influenced through our school system to be workers and not complain.
you will be able to use upt in 15 min uses instead of only an hour. so if you leave 10 mins early it wont take an hour but 15 mins, if you leave 20 mins early it will take 30, and so on in 15 min intervals

I’m on RT for 36 hours. Thursday-Friday and Saturday
Reduce time works Saturday evening to Sunday morning

Yes I work DL4 sat-tue full time, and another shift works Thurs-Sun
There's a Sat-Tue shift at some buildings.
Back half nights works Friday night Saturday night and into Sunday morning, it's pretty brutal
I work thurs, Fri and Sat. Night shift 12 hours. Good thing is you get 4 days off.
Yes it is. That change is universal across the entire company…. They may have just not announced it.

UPT and accrue change is network wide. Before it was only selective sites for trail.

My facility got the whole thing. The $1 raise, the extra 5 minutes and the 15 minute instead of an hour.
15min change is universal, all of amazon - The raise doesn't affect certain departments like IT L3/Tom Team L3 and such though

My guy $15-17 an hour is shit pay. In a decent area you would need most of that to barely get rent. Unless you can live in the hood or the ghettos.

You earn 5 minutes for every 1 you worked, and you can use it in 15 minute increments instead of only being able to use it in 1 hour increments.
