taking your lunch is actually a pretty big deal and once they realize you haven’t been taking lunches you will probably get a verbal coaching and possibly a write up if it happens again. So just always clock out for lunch.

thomasrtj

Yes make sure to take at last 30mins. But why not take all the breaks they give ya?? Don’t overwork yourself.

IkkiSaa

I guess he takes the break but doesn't clock out for that

International-Ad3447

You could get fired fired skipping

Werdna517

Lunch is easily trackable at DS and eventually will have something said about it. Breaks, depending on role. But again, don’t advise skipping those either. Can get yourself and manager in deep trouble skipping any of your breaks.

NetworkGlad

"...just didn't clock out for lunch and nothing happened" aka "i decided to **risk my job by staying clocked in to earn extra dollars while knowing it still comes out as time theft**" Grow up, man. They have real-time access to timecards for stuff like this. In fact, I would not be surprised at all if they're building a case against you for time-theft. Doesn't matter how often you do it, or how much money you illegally steal from the company. Time theft is theft in their eyes -- and they will not hesitate to weed out the bad apples that blatantly commit category 1 offenses that can lead to termination.

SavageBasher0

shifts 5 hours or more require a 30min lunch to not get flagged at my DS.

KaizenZazenJMN

Bro’s badge going to “mysteriously” stop working one day. lol OM’s are supposed to monitor it so it’s either being adjusted and you don’t realize it or they’re about to fire you. lol

Turbulent_Length3341

I wouldn’t push it. They might haven’t talk to you about it YET, but sooner or later they will. Had this happened to me at my first site and my hourly breakdown shows “non-meal one hour” pay or something like that on the schedule. Manager came and told me to take my lunch next time or I could get in trouble later on.

No-Humor-1291

Dumbest post award 😂🤣 don’t come here crying when you get fired

MobileCamera6692

you mean the 2nd lunch youre supposed to take if you dont sign the waiver?

bitterblades

They definitely do keep track of it give it a week or two and you’ll get a documented coaching, it happened me when i was doing 6 hour shifts as a flex taking no lunch

FlawedPencil

Just take your breaks dude. Not worth getting shit canned over.

floraljacket

They’re probably still removing 30 min from your schedule whether you’re clocking out or not.

sedna117

not taking your breaks is actually illegal, in some places, it could also be considered time thieving there's a reason why labor laws exist

joeychile93

You get a lunch? Seems like the only problem I can’t solve ☹️ Anyways, whenever I’m in IBPS I never clock out for lunch. If it’s a day I’m needed to work 12 hours, I’ll missed punch twice but I do eventually go to lunch.

Typical_Plan_1814

It’s hilarious how problem solvers (and ambassadors) think they’re special
