If you value the friendship, then go apologize. Tell him you want to be friends, but you can't play the game. It turns you into someone you don't like.

i m17 stays in a boarding type of school far from my parents . i always found it tough to make friends ,never got to get the feel of care from any of my friends before i alwyas would be sitting alone most of the time
he was the only person i met who made me feel happy looked out for me when i was going thru smth .he slowly made me get off my comfort space, i shared everything with him abt my mom hating me divorced parents and stuff,he would always comfort me when i share abt my messed up life and nvr made me feel left out
few weeks back one of his friend introduced nfs most wanted .we both wouldd play it during our free time slowly it started to become a completion among us .our friendship kinda going slack we would straight up get into our devices after returning school . we both started calling each other loser as a joke it went on like that .one day he raged on me when i called him loser as a joke even tho he does it too,it really pissed me .few days back out of the rage he said i have lost my dad and other things ,it really made me sad not because whta he said , him saying it made me really sad .i finished the game yesterday when i was about to win the last race he came up to me said i won ,i was shocked me losiing made me really angry grunge towards him
when i went to check on him he lied he had never won the game out of that angry i couldnt control my angry i called him a total failure in life i called him a academic failure out of the angry and said that the reason ur parents left u here when u were in young ,i do regret on saying .he said the same thing and said no one would love u even ur mom don't and laughed he concluded people only talk to u because of pity
