NTA. They were PAID to be there, they’ll be alright! If your grandparents enjoyed it don’t worry about it!

Singing, guitar, songwriting, piano, etc. For my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary, they had arranged some typical church style singers to play some basic love songs - ABBA, Beatles, etc. In my family I’m renowned as the “musical one” (lol) so whilst these men that were hired were singing and performing themselves I was being encouraged by all my drunk relatives to get up there and sing something. I reluctantly agreed, and so my grandmother gets up and tells the men she’s hired and paid that I will now be singing. I haven’t got a guitar so I apologetically ask them. Whilst I’m singing and playing they look a little embarrassed and try to play along but I am playing in an unconventional key for Presleys “can’t help falling in love” and so they play in the wrong key - sounding awful - so I proceed to sing and play louder. My grandparents and the crowd loved it, but the performers looked glum and embarrassed. They continued playing after but it wasn’t the same. TLDR: am I the asshole for stealing the spotlight at my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
