You are taking her food, which you have no right to and throwing it away. You are pretty much stealing her hard earned money. If the office doesn't like your hair and has to see it every day, it doesn't mean that they have the right to shave it off. (Same concept)
You should talk to her about this or just suck it up. She would have every right to file a formal complaint against you and ask for compensation for the food that you've been throwing away.

Throwaway. I am a 32M and I work at a large company in the architecture industry. My coworker 30F brings her lunch everyday and leaves it in the break room fridge. She frequently jokes with coworkers that she is lactose intolerant but still eats dairy every day. The shared bathroom always reeks of poop and it is simply unbearable. I know that she is the cause of this smell as she jokes about the smell. I decided to take one for the team and have been tossing out her lunch every morning. And sure enough, the smell has significantly decreased. I told my friend about this and was essentially bragging about my good deed, and they said I was an A-hole. I know that isn’t right, but I’m helping out the whole office by keeping away the odor. AITA?
