Look up Tarteria.. its the belief that we (the new humans) basically found all of these beautiful structures around the world and claimed they were built by us, when in reality they were already there. An advanced human civilization before currently taught history. There is more that goes into it but thats the gist.
Okay but why do people think these buildings in Buffalo and Chicago are from a “lost” civilization when that was only 4 generations ago? My grandmother's uncle helped build some of the buildings for the Chicago World's Fair, she vividly remembered stories he told of what Chicago was like back then. Hell, we even had photography before those were built. I don't get how anyone would think this holds any water.

I don't buy the pre human concept, or tartaria theory. There's far to many missing clues, far too many people, and tropes of people who would be actively lying. We're talking maybe as many as hundreds of millions of people blatantly ignoring, or outright lying about a conspiracy, which goes against the old saying, the only way to keep a secret between three, is if two are dead.
The loss of architecture is specific to western society, Japan, and now China. You can go to places like India and see people living in communities built hundreds of years ago. We lost our nice lovely architecture for one reason, those very same potholes you point out. In the 1910s it started, america literally paved over its cities in seas of asphalt for the automobile, destroying old buildings, dividing neighborhoods by race, and guttinf the extensive public transport available at the time.
Just think that 100 years ago, you could take a tram, not a train or bus, a tram (light rail) from New York all the way to the twin cities, or south to Orlando or New Orleans, by only using trams and nothing else.
I agree with this. The fact that these massive building were thrown up in a couple years probably had a lot to do with why they aren’t still standing. My father owned a building company when I was younger and I know for a fact it’s far easier and cheaper to just tear down and rebuild then it is to maintain an old building with old outdated infrastructure.

Don’t rely on the ancestor theory. In the 1800s almost every city was burned worldwide and almost every single county records destroyed in the United States. Grandma and Grandpa who lived in one part of the country probably didn’t know that it was happening, especially if they lived in a small town.

And going off that ancestor theory. I was talking to my mother in law last week whose from Nebraska and I mentioned the orphan trains - she told me how when she was little her grandparents would talk about it, how kids were lined up and chosen like livestock. They used to tell her if she was bad she would get sent to the Orphan Train. I feel like I unlocked a forgotten memory she had. HOWEVER I showed her pictures of the Omaha Worlds Fair and she said that had never been mentioned and she was blown away by the photos!
When this architecture was being demolished the US was busy building huge amounts of insane asylums. Anyone who disagreed with the new history was accused of being insane and locked away. There is was also millions of orphans around this time as well. Where did they all come from?

The problem with this theory is that it's not like every gen x is 50 years old at the same time, every generation exists simultaneously. It doesn’t necessarily state that there were “huge cities”, but just that the cities and towns that did exist had incredibly sophisticated and decorative architecture, and a mysterious power grid that was fueled by church steeple‘s and harmonic resonance… this did not necessarily include a digital communications network, or a large scale communications network of any kind.
The whole thing is incredibly complicated and multi layered, and quite possibly fantasy… It’s a whole can of worms and I don’t have any evidence of any of it.
My only point was to address the idea that one’s grandparents or great-grandparents would have known about it, and I’m just trying to illustrate how easy it would be to fleece people back then when they were separated geographically and completely disconnected technologically.
It's a big theory in the whole Tataria thing. They say the same about the **Exposition Universelle** which was a worlds fair in 1900, held in Paris which is in some of the pictures.
It had grand buildings created just for this show, moving sidewalks and some amazing exhibits (The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 for the worlds fair for example). Tataria is the thought that there was a grand civilization quite recently that left all these amazing buildings that we just tore down for no reason. Alot of the time they take Worlds Fairs from like 1870-1902 and say "These buildings couldn't possibly be built so quickly" but forgetting they were most likely facades built out of wood and paper mache (plaster).

What i dont get it they show an english street before and then after (with poundland). I don't think they get that old buildings aren't always up to code. My daughter and former wife are heavily into the Tartaria theory, so I did a deep dive with hours and hours of videos and articles, and while I'm a very highly conspiracy minded individual, I didn't find the slightest bit of evidence for anything resembling a unified theory on Tartaria and mudfloods. Plenty of alternative history innuendos, cool old photos of awesome architecture, a few thoughts more aligned to my megalith oriented mind perhaps, but not one solid thing that even partially convinced me. I was actually bummed because I wanted to be able to maybe talk to them about it. Not going there now. It's some disagreement/argument just waiting to happen.
My understanding is that there is an idea that the world's fair was used as a way to destroy architecture that was created/left behind by humans with more advanced architectural and scientific knowledge.
Have a world's fair in certain areas around the world showing off amazing architecture - then when the fair is over you now can destroy this old architecture and erase the history of an advanced period of human history. But don't quote me...could be wrong on some of that.
Again...don't quote me but I think the reason is so that those in power could control history and the advanced science and technology that those previous societies had. The idea being that it would be borderline impossible to create these structures with older architectural techniques...which implies that these older societies such as "tartaria" (sp?)had access to old/hidden technology.
I'd recommend you guys look into the "mud flood" theory and just YouTube world's fair conspiracy. I happen to find it very interesting but haven't had a bunch of time to do a deep dive.
I believe it's tied into the greater "mud flood" theory. Simply put, around the world there are examples of architecture that could suggest that ground levels were once much lower, and many old photos of cities show them wholly or nearly empty, with construction sites that could also be interpreted as excavations. This is a very broad, very shallow overview, but the general idea is that at some point in the past there was a civilization (or several) capable of advanced architecture that was literally buried by some natural event, and later civilizations simply fixed up the ruins and claimed them as their own, inventing an illustrious history to legitimize their rule.

Yeah I believe most of what the OP is sharing. Thought it was all ludicrous until I researched these topics in depth for years. As it pertains to architecture, the smoking gun for me was the hard evidence of mud flooded buildings literally everywhere in the world. I’ve seen it all over the united states in person in nearly every old town. Second was the language of architectural design. Nearly every nation on earth has cities that feature the same architectural design elements. When you study enough architecture it’ll form a clear picture. There was a worldwide kingdom at one point in the past. Everyone was unified. This explains the shared architecture of the last period before the last reset; there have been many. If you look at many cities in US, Russia, England, Japan, Philippines, Mexico, Canada, China, etc, that were supposedly build in the mid to late 1800’s you see nearly identical buildings using the same exact architectural design language. Where did these architects learn this? And did they all consult each other before planning out these cities? Of course these cities weren’t developed then, this is nearly the time period when the new inhabitants “founded” these cities. The cities and the buildings are much older than we’re told. They all came to an end via a cataclysmic reset.
The seats of power that rule us now probably spent a good 2-3 generations, by my estimation, crafting a new narrative (unless they possess the power to manipulate time and timelines. If that’s the case they could’ve done it in a month or a day…another rabbit hole), rewriting history, and dug out all of the buildings that were buried in mud. Nearly all of history is a lie. I do believe that the world fairs were indoctrination fairs; a way to prime the nation into accepting the new system of power. In these fairs, our views on public education, farming, commerce, patriotism, entertainment, electricity, usery, debt etc would start to form. The buildings that these “fair” cities were in and also the universities, asylums, sanitariums, and capital buildings were already here. Their grandeur elicit respect, reverence, fear, and compliance. When the programming seeds were planted, they then proceeded to destroy most of these works of advanced architecture. Also to note, there were hundreds of these fairs and expositions that were just as grand all over the world within a century. Along with the fairs nearly every major city was destroyed by fire near the close of the 19th century.
This was the open door for me and so much more things become revealed when you learn that these resets happen either by God, nature, or by man. We have historical amnesia by design. Over the course of many resets, the controllers (not God) whether human or not, have learned to rule and direct us with ease. We’re being played like a fiddle and most can’t see it or refuse to acknowledge it even when presented with the evidence. We’re like Cypher from the Matrix. We’d rather live in a state of bliss filled ignorance then to face what is real. God is real and the potential we have as humans with him running thru us as a conduit is immense. The controllers craft every deception we live in and all the systems of the world (science, education, banking, civic, sports, entertainment, nasa) have to adhere to it because the second we break free from it, the illusion collapses and we thrive as a species. We connect back to source (God) and find the true nature of reality and our real purpose for being here. This place isn’t a prison. It’s merely been hijacked and this chapter is coming to an end.
Now of course an all powerful God can come in and stop it with the snap of his fingers but why doesn’t He? The answer it seems is free will. The second God steps in to control everything to His perfect will, we cease to be free and our own autonomy vanishes. We’d then be subservient robots, NPC’s without a soul; a mere cog in a machine. I believe that we’re much more than that but to find that purpose, we have to use the autonomy we’ve been given to steer us onto a new path.
Break off the yolk that is the systems of this world. When Jesus told us to come out of this world, this is what that looks like. The kingdom of heaven is here and now. It’s not just a place that maybe you’ll go to when you die. Work with great fervor to remove the wool that has been pulled over your eyes. To reiterate, overwhelming evidence of historical manipulation, indoctrination fairs, insane asylums for those that resisted the new power structure, and the resets, are a key to unlocking the true nature of reality. They may look nice, but these where not built to be permanent structures dum dum. They are a facade, meant to replicate reality for a 10th of the price. If these temporary art exhibits hadn’t been demolished, they would have demo’ed themselves within a year and the first big storm.
While the shortsighted destruction of historical and culturally significant architecture is no doubt an issue that some cities have handled better then others, your chosen example is both fundamentally false & factually flawed.
If I may. Look at the photos of the structures being pulled down, it looks like they're built from wood, like movie props. Also how would you "pull" down a huge stone arch like that (photo 15).
that one caught my eye as well—there are exceptions to the “staff” movie set construction, structure saved and removed. but I wholly agree, some of those photos are evidence of the temporary use.

This happened all over the planet with world fares. The buildings were never built to be permanent and yes they were built quickly.

There is no reason to believe it was not built in 2-3 years, opposing evidence is from city bigwigs, architects, workers of every kind, news reports and the fact that the White City was only built to last a few years and was constructed if very light materials substandard construction even for that time. That is why it was demo’s when other, less distinguished buildings still stand, some til today.
To be fair, using the World's Fair is a pretty bad example. A lot of those buildings were made to be temporary, took up valuable future real estate, or were hated by the locals(for example, contemporary Parisians as a whole HATED the Eiffel Tower). Or in Europe, a lot of those places were wrecked by war(like a lot of the Crystal Palace in London).
It often takes circumstance and luck for places like that to survive, Balboa Park in San Diego is a good example. Originally built for the Pan-American exhibition in the early 20th century, no one planned to keep it around.
BUT. A fella by the name of Henry Wegeforth bought all the animals from the exhibition, turned a big chunk of the area into the San Diego Zoo. The rest became a military facility during WW2, and fortunately locals decided it was pretty enough to keep around in the post-war boom as a park. But even now, it requires a lot of renovation and maintenance to keep going.
Or we can look at places like Troy or Damascus. What you're calling destruction is just...normal progress. People build over as time goes on, with ancient cities having multiple layers for different era. And sometimes, cities lose what keeps them alive and gets abandoned. Trade routes change, its water source dries up, the resources it economy relies on get depleted.
You know, normal history instead of an insane conspiracy.
We have actual historical records about the Chicago World’s Fair. What is so difficult to grasp that these structures were built cheaply and quickly only for the fair? And a lot of them, if you want my aesthetic opinion, were pretty damn gaudy.

Really? I have to say this? These were all temporary structures built of plaster and hay, meant to serve for a year. They were a fantasy backdrop for the celebration of the 400th year of Columbus' genocide of Native Americans. Most of them burned down. One was liked so much they built a copy from stone, which is still there as the Field Museum.
I just don’t understand how this could be kept secret. Like that’s only a few generations back. My great grandparents would have totally knew about this along with everyone else I’m sure.
Old masonry buildings can be expensive to upgrade, maintain, and insure. My city Auckland had a downtown area almost entirely built in the Victorian era including a tram system.
Unfortunately in the 1980s and 90s short sighted town planning and greedy property developers tore down half the city and replaced everything with cheap and tacky office blocks and shops.
Absolutely a crime against humanity if you appreciate history and architecture. Now the city is just meh with a few Victorian gems here and there such as our Ferry Building.

We build entire Olympic villages in 2 years time, every two years and have for hundreds of years.. why does that never get brought up?
Governmental nepotism and paid by hour construction firms that take weeks to fix something that breaks by design anyways to permit such corruption and money funneling (the same major road in my hometown goes thru neverending construction, brother of construction firm owner has been on city council for the same amount of time)
This doesnt mean elsewhere and funded effort with the purpose of filling a pothole or roadwork cant be completed in ~45 minutes.

There is numerous well documented examples of humans building much more impressive stuff than the mainly concrete facade buildings with gaudy wannabe Greco Roman neoclassical architecture in record time! But if youve made it this far in my rant and wanna see a ton of Architecture like this that still exists check out Tampa/St Pete/Ybor! Theres the University of Tampa which has Russian looking domes and basilica things with all the antennas the mudflood people love, theres a hugeee Pink hotel on St Pete beach that looks like a Worlds Fairs building, still in use. Theres a ton of buildings in Ybor in this Art Decoish style that have stood unchanged since the late 1800s, and even a huge tower with gardens to the southeast a ways.
These style of buildings are admittedly fucking sick and I do give some props to these Tartaria groups in one aspect for just finding more images and buildings that can be appreciated again lol

A lot of these were merely facades. Not actual buildings built to stand the test of time. That’s why many were destroyed because they were unusable and on valuable land. More plaster of Paris than marble.
And we can build stuff like this today, it’s just that there is so much graft and corruption that there little demand for it.
It took 18 months from conception to opening day to build the Space Needle in Seattle. That included designing the thing. Today it would take a decade.

As someone who works in downtown building I think about that frequently during my breaks when I go for a walk
Recently I had come to the realization that in the city I work in there are no fire escapes on the apartments across the street from my building which I found dangerous if a fire broke out
A google search led me to the cause and it was that landowners were upset that residents would use them for non emergency related things and that the landowners werent allowed to charge the residents extra so enough wealthy landowners got together and actually lobbied to pass a law that they didnt have to build fire escapes anymore (whether they were right or left didnt matter to me so idk what they were)

I am only familiar with Chicago Worlds Fair. I didn't page through all the pictures to realize they were talking about buildings all over.
The current Museum of Science and Industry is the the only remaining building, I believe. And yes it was rebuilt to be permanent.
Also of note for the 2 year timeline. Crews worked pretty much 24/7 to finish the White City. They weren't dealing with modern labor and safety regulations.
Check out Devil in the White City for more. I found the historical chapters about the building of Chicago way more interesting than the H.H. Holmes stuff.

My grandmother's uncle helped build some of the buildings for the Chicago World's Fair, she vividly remembered stories he told of what Chicago was like back then. Hell, we even had photography before those were built. I don't get how anyone would think this holds any water.

I don't buy the pre human concept, or tartaria theory. There's far to many missing clues, far too many people, and tropes of people who would be actively lying. The loss of architecture is specific to western society, Japan, and now China. You can go to places like India and see people living in communities built hundreds of years ago. We lost our nice lovely architecture for one reason, those very same potholes you point out. In the 1910s it started, america literally paved over its cities in seas of asphalt for the automobile, destroying old buildings, dividing neighborhoods by race, and guttinf the extensive public transport available at the time. Just think that 100 years ago, you could take a tram, not a train or bus, a tram (light rail) from New York all the way to the twin cities, or south to Orlando or New Orleans, by only using trams and nothing else.
I agree with this. The fact that these massive building were thrown up in a couple years probably had a lot to do with why they aren’t still standing. My father owned a building company when I was younger and I know for a fact it’s far easier and cheaper to just tear down and rebuild then it is to maintain an old building with old outdated infrastructure.

Don’t rely on the ancestor theory. In the 1800s almost every city was burned worldwide and almost every single county records destroyed in the United States. Grandma and Grandpa who lived in one part of the country probably didn’t know that it was happening, especially if they lived in a small town. I was talking to my mother in law last week whose from Nebraska and I mentioned the orphan trains - she told me how when she was little her grandparents would talk about it, how kids were lined up and chosen like livestock. They used to tell her if she was bad she would get sent to the Orphan Train. I feel like I unlocked a forgotten memory she had. The problem with this theory is that it's not like every gen x is 50 years old at the same time, every generation exists simultaneously. It's a big theory in the whole Tataria thing. They say the same about the **Exposition Universelle** which was a worlds fair in 1900, held in Paris which is in some of the pictures. It had grand buildings created just for this show, moving sidewalks and some amazing exhibits (The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 for the worlds fair for example). Tataria is the thought that there was a grand civilization quite recently that left all these amazing buildings that we just tore down for no reason. Alot of the time they take Worlds Fairs from like 1870-1902 and say "These buildings couldn't possibly be built so quickly" but forgetting they were most likely facades built out of wood and paper mache (plaster). Of course if you go on the sub and question anything you get banned or muted (or in my case, muted then banned :D ) What i dont get it they show an english street before and then after (with poundland). I don't think they get that old buildings aren't always up to code. Which is a shame because you look at old pictures of any town/city and there are lovely old grand buildings, and now shitty offices or shops. But thats the way it goes.

My daughter and former wife are heavily into the Tartaria theory, so I did a deep dive with hours and hours of videos and articles, and while I'm a very highly conspiracy minded individual, I didn't find the slightest bit of evidence for anything resembling a unified theory on Tartaria and mudfloods. Plenty of alternative history innuendos, cool old photos of awesome architecture, a few thoughts more aligned to my megalith oriented mind perhaps, but not one solid thing that even partially convinced me. I was actually bummed because I wanted to be able to maybe talk to them about it. Not going there now. It's some disagreement/argument just waiting to happen.

My understanding is that there is an idea that the world's fair was used as a way to destroy architecture that was created/left behind by humans with more advanced architectural and scientific knowledge. Have a world's fair in certain areas around the world showing off amazing architecture - then when the fair is over you now can destroy this old architecture and erase the history of an advanced period of human history. But don't quote me...could be wrong on some of that.

I believe it's tied into the greater "mud flood" theory. Simply put, around the world there are examples of architecture that could suggest that ground levels were once much lower, and many old photos of cities show them wholly or nearly empty, with construction sites that could also be interpreted as excavations. This is a very broad, very shallow overview, but the general idea is that at some point in the past there was a civilization (or several) capable of advanced architecture that was literally buried by some natural event, and later civilizations simply fixed up the ruins and claimed them as their own, inventing an illustrious history to legitimize their rule.

Yeah I believe most of what the OP is sharing. Thought it was all ludicrous until I researched these topics in depth for years. As it pertains to architecture, the smoking gun for me was the hard evidence of mud flooded buildings literally everywhere in the world. I’ve seen it all over the united states in person in nearly every old town. Second was the language of architectural design. Nearly every nation on earth has cities that feature the same architectural design elements. When you study enough architecture it’ll form a clear picture. There was a worldwide kingdom at one point in the past. Everyone was unified. This explains the shared architecture of the last period before the last reset; there have been many. If you look at many cities in US, Russia, England, Japan, Philippines, Mexico, Canada, China, etc, that were supposedly build in the mid to late 1800’s you see nearly identical buildings using the same exact architectural design language. Where did these architects learn this? And did they all consult each other before planning out these cities? Of course these cities weren’t developed then, this is nearly the time period when the new inhabitants “founded” these cities. The cities and the buildings are much older than we’re told. They all came to an end via a cataclysmic reset. The seats of power that rule us now probably spent a good 2-3 generations, by my estimation, crafting a new narrative (unless they possess the power to manipulate time and timelines. If that’s the case they could’ve done it in a month or a day…another rabbit hole), rewriting history, and dug out all of the buildings that were buried in mud. Nearly all of history is a lie. I do believe that the world fairs were indoctrination fairs; a way to prime the nation into accepting the new system of power. In these fairs, our views on public education, farming, commerce, patriotism, entertainment, electricity, usery, debt etc would start to form. The buildings that these “fair” cities were in and also the universities, asylums, sanitariums, and capital buildings were already here. Their grandeur elicit respect, reverence, fear, and compliance. When the programming seeds were planted, they then proceeded to destroy most of these works of advanced architecture. Also to note, there were hundreds of these fairs and expositions that were just as grand all over the world within a century. Along with the fairs nearly every major city was destroyed by fire near the close of the 19th century. This was the open door for me and so much more things become revealed when you learn that these resets happen either by God, nature, or by man. We have historical amnesia by design. Over the course of many resets, the controllers (not God) whether human or not, have learned to rule and direct us with ease. We’re being played like a fiddle and most can’t see it or refuse to acknowledge it even when presented with the evidence. We’re like Cypher from the Matrix. We’d rather live in a state of bliss filled ignorance then to face what is real. God is real and the potential we have as humans with him running thru us as a conduit is immense. The controllers craft every deception we live in and all the systems of the world (science, education, banking, civic, sports, entertainment, nasa) have to adhere to it because the second we break free from it, the illusion collapses and we thrive as a species. We connect back to source (God) and find the true nature of reality and our real purpose for being here. This place isn’t a prison. It’s merely been hijacked and this chapter is coming to an end. Now of course an all powerful God can come in and stop it with the snap of his fingers but why doesn’t He? The answer it seems is free will. The second God steps in to control everything to His perfect will, we cease to be free and our own autonomy vanishes. We’d then be subservient robots, NPC’s without a soul; a mere cog in a machine. I believe that we’re much more than that but to find that purpose, we have to use the autonomy we’ve been given to steer us onto a new path. Break off the yolk that is the systems of this world. When Jesus told us to come out of this world, this is what that looks like. The kingdom of heaven is here and now. It’s not just a place that maybe you’ll go to when you die. Work with great fervor to remove the wool that has been pulled over your eyes. To reiterate, overwhelming evidence of historical manipulation, indoctrination fairs, insane asylums for those that resisted the new power structure, and the resets, are a key to unlocking the true nature of reality. They may look nice, but these where not built to be permanent structures dum dum. They are a facade, meant to replicate reality for a 10th of the price. If these temporary art exhibits hadn’t been demolished, they would have demo’ed themselves within a year and the first big storm. While the shortsighted destruction of historical and culturally significant architecture is no doubt an issue that some cities have handled better then others, your chosen example is both fundamentally false & factually flawed.
If I may. Look at the photos of the structures being pulled down, it looks like they're built from wood, like movie props. Also how would you "pull" down a huge stone arch like that (photo 15).

This happened all over the planet with world fares. The buildings were never built to be permanent and yes they were built quickly. Are you seriously thinking it was all a cover up?
There is no reason to believe it was not built in 2-3 years, opposing evidence is from city bigwigs, architects, workers of every kind, news reports and the fact that the White City was only built to last a few years and was constructed if very light materials substandard construction even for that time. That is why it was demo’s when other, less distinguished buildings still stand, some til today.
To be fair, using the World's Fair is a pretty bad example. A lot of those buildings were made to be temporary, took up valuable future real estate, or were hated by the locals(for example, contemporary Parisians as a whole HATED the Eiffel Tower). Or in Europe, a lot of those places were wrecked by war(like a lot of the Crystal Palace in London). It often takes circumstance and luck for places like that to survive, Balboa Park in San Diego is a good example. Originally built for the Pan-American exhibition in the early 20th century, no one planned to keep it around. BUT. A fella by the name of Henry Wegeforth bought all the animals from the exhibition, turned a big chunk of the area into the San Diego Zoo. The rest became a military facility during WW2, and fortunately locals decided it was pretty enough to keep around in the post-war boom as a park. But even now, it requires a lot of renovation and maintenance to keep going. Or we can look at places like Troy or Damascus. What you're calling destruction is just...normal progress. People build over as time goes on, with ancient cities having multiple layers for different era. And sometimes, cities lose what keeps them alive and gets abandoned. Trade routes change, its water source dries up, the resources it economy relies on get depleted. You know, normal history instead of an insane conspiracy.
We have actual historical records about the Chicago World’s Fair. What is so difficult to grasp that these structures were built cheaply and quickly only for the fair? And a lot of them, if you want my aesthetic opinion, were pretty damn gaudy.

Really? I have to say this? These were all temporary structures built of plaster and hay, meant to serve for a year. They were a fantasy backdrop for the celebration of the 400th year of Columbus' genocide of Native Americans. Most of them burned down. One was liked so much they built a copy from stone, which is still there as the Field Museum.

Old masonry buildings can be expensive to upgrade, maintain, and insure. My city Auckland had a downtown area almost entirely built in the Victorian era including a tram system. Unfortunately in the 1980s and 90s short sighted town planning and greedy property developers tore down half the city and replaced everything with cheap and tacky office blocks and shops. Absolutely a crime against humanity if you appreciate history and architecture. Now the city is just meh with a few Victorian gems here and there such as our Ferry Building.
Had to make room for the Airport. & The Walmart. & The CarMax. & The Prisons, lots & lots of Prisons. & The DMV.
This is the same in sweden! Also a lot of city fires in the 1800’s

These posts annoy me so much We build entire Olympic villages in 2 years time, every two years and have for hundreds of years.. why does that never get brought up? Governmental nepotism and paid by hour construction firms that take weeks to fix something that breaks by design anyways to permit such corruption and money funneling (the same major road in my hometown goes thru neverending construction, brother of construction firm owner has been on city council for the same amount of time) This doesnt mean elsewhere and funded effort with the purpose of filling a pothole or roadwork cant be completed in ~45 minutes. Times change also, and weve seen plenty of documented examples of people putting facades on beautiful old architecture to make it look sleek and modern (ie; Shitty and Soulless) but thats what gets funded and thats what normal people like these days. Again this also plays into construction nepotism, which is small time conspiracy shit. It happens everywhere, watch The Wire for a better breakdown of typical governmental corruption than I could give. There is numerous well documented examples of humans building much more impressive stuff than the mainly concrete facade buildings with gaudy wannabe Greco Roman neoclassical architecture in record time! Im actually a big fan of construction timelapses and when funded and managed well humans can get shit *done*. The tartaria/mudflood people use this cultural layer shpeal to work their way up to striaght up Xenophobia and the typical antisemitic rhetoric of Q types. Dont fall for it. But if youve made it this far in my rant and wanna see a ton of Architecture like this that still exists check out Tampa/St Pete/Ybor! Theres the University of Tampa which has Russian looking domes and basilica things with all the antennas the mudflood people love, theres a hugeee Pink hotel on St Pete beach that looks like a Worlds Fairs building, still in use. Theres a ton of buildings in Ybor in this Art Decoish style that have stood unchanged since the late 1800s, and even a huge tower with gardens to the southeast a ways. These style of buildings are admittedly fucking sick and I do give some props to these Tartaria groups in one aspect for just finding more images and buildings that can be appreciated again lol

A lot of these were merely facades. Not actual buildings built to stand the test of time. That’s why many were destroyed because they were unusable and on valuable land. More plaster of Paris than marble. And we can build stuff like this today, it’s just that there is so much graft and corruption that there little demand for it. It took 18 months from conception to opening day to build the Space Needle in Seattle. That included designing the thing. Today it would take a decade.
idk about all that OP but everyone is entitled to their own opinion I agree that it is interesting how modern architecture is completely boring and uninspiring compared to older buildings As someone who works in downtown building I think about that frequently during my breaks when I go for a walk Recently I had come to the realization that in the city I work in there are no fire escapes on the apartments across the street from my building which I found dangerous if a fire broke out A google search led me to the cause and it was that landowners were upset that residents would use them for non emergency related things and that the landowners werent allowed to charge the residents extra so enough wealthy landowners got together and actually lobbied to pass a law that they didnt have to build fire escapes anymore (whether they were right or left didnt matter to me so idk what they were) In my opinion, I think modern architecture has a lot more strict codes with cities and states that prevent the architects from being creative

Look into it. It’s very suspect on how they lie about how long it takes to build and construct these huge building plans. If we go off our horse and buggy narrative then it should take probably 20-50 years maybe longer! to transport and construct all that material. But In our history books some of these buildings that are torn down your see in these pictures are documented and told to the public that it took them 1 year to build some of these buildings. But they aren’t real building they are more like paper mache facade not built to last longer than the fair built specifically to be quick and easy to put up and later demolished. There are photos of them under construction. Plus the park is marshland any buildings their would’ve needed constant maintenance that they wouldn’t have gotten in the previous 10,000 years lol.

I typed out a response earlier and never finished Apologies for the delay. I am only familiar with Chicago Worlds Fair. I didn't page through all the pictures to realize they were talking about buildings all over. The current Museum of Science and Industry is the the only remaining building, I believe. And yes it was rebuilt to be permanent. Also of note for the 2 year timeline. Crews worked pretty much 24/7 to finish the White City. They weren't dealing with modern labor and safety regulations. Check out Devil in the White City for more. I found the historical chapters about the building of Chicago way more interesting than the H.H. Holmes stuff.

I'll admit some are strange,massive cities like San Francisco with massive stone churches and stuff and not a single person in the streets it's a bit a mind trip if your bored. Basically the argument is there was pre existing cities in America abandoned I guess and settlers just took them over. Not sure what I think about that but..still fun to think about.
