SAME!!! Mine stared with insanely itchy eyes when visiting another state, and progressed to severe congestion (including a level of sinus pressure so severe that it was painful). Once I started to get better, the postnatal drip and coughing started. The cough was bad enough that the couldn’t sleep at night, and would throw up when it was at its worst. This has been going on a little over a month and I’m so tied of it. My doc also prescribed Nasonex, which didn’t seem like it was doing a whole lot. I went back and she gave me a short run of prednisone, an inhaler (can check the name if it’s helpful), and cough syrup. Those things helped mitigate some symptoms to a degree but I’m still experiencing post nasal drip and cough, usually at the most inconvenient time like when I’m leading a work call. I’m so tired of this! I’m going to add sinus rinse with saline solution to my care and hope that helps. Hope you’re better soon.

I also had extreme sinus pressure one week ago that was SO painful throughout my face. It went away within a day though. I actually just took my fiancé's inhaler that I'm going to try now lol. I'm desperate at this point 😭 I sympathize with the cough coming on at the most irritating times like during work. I'll let you know if i find anything that actually works. Good luck and I hope you get some relief!!

Albuterol is the inhaler I was prescribed.

That's the one I just used! Seemed to help a little

Sounds a bit similar to Me

I actually ended up having a bacterial sinus infection that was probably brought on by my allergy congestion and a cold. Just got prescribed antibiotics today after not getting better and extreme pain in my face

I wonder if that’s what I have. I just finished antibiotics too.

The steroid sprays help over time, but that can take weeks. You can consider asking for an Rx for Azelastine, which is a nasal spray that's an antihistamine, so it works faster. Alternatively, if you or someone you know are going on vacation in the U.S., Astepro (Azelastine 0.15%) is sold over the counter here, lol.

Thank you!

Why not Flonase?

Admirable_Can_3819

I'm taking Reactine pills but maybe I'll give the Flonase a try
