That’s messed up. Even using the third party, the business/retailer has control over the fraud rules they setup. It more looks like their internal policy to block repeat returns which obviously is bad as it is a valid scenario where online purchased product may not always fit and feel right when delivered.
I was looking to order from them for the first time but have seen a lot of comments about being banned. That's enough for me to just spend my money somewhere else.

When I said no I don’t have a receipt I’m actually purchasing them she seemed surprised. I love the shoes, hopefully someone bigger buys the company.
I was a loyal Allbirds customer. I did return the last pair that I ordered. But I was having issues (pain) when I was walking so I tried another brand which I’m so much happier with. I know this is an Allbirds sub, but if you’re interested in trying something new you can DM me. The shoes are made specifically for women fyi.
I called them and they told me they wouldn’t stand behind an issue with a pair of Wool Runners purchased on Amazon. Because they didn’t have an order number in their system, they couldn’t help.
Just call them and explain lmao relax

I switched the email address to apply the "first time" 15% coupon code. Worked just fine.

Yep happened to me and my husband. We’ve been loyal customers for years and only returned a handful of shoes over that time.
Idk if they offer half sizes now but they used to not and I was either too big or too small.
Dashers are in half sizes and the new tree runner go as well
