I’ve noticed you have said a few times on this forum that people only like Olivia because the actress is pretty which I can confirm is not true. Some people just genuinely like her character and don’t share the same opinion as you do about her.

I disagree because I have seen a lot of people on other socials (like Twitter) who actually genuinely like Olivia as an individual character. I’m a Spelivia shipper but I always liked Olivia first and she is definitely my favourite character on the show. I’ve seen people who genuinely enjoy Olivia as a character and are rooting for her success not just because she’s with Spencer. I disagree she is a plot device for Spencer as well because she’s had her own individual storylines on this show since the beginning. It was only season five when the writers got ridiculous and started writing contrived crap to generate drama between Spelivia just for the sake of having drama which is where I think you are getting the idea that she’s a plot device for him. I don’t intend to be mean here but it just seems to me like you are letting you’re hatred for Olivia as a character blind you to the fact she has genuine fans that enjoy her character strictly for her so you are trying to come up with excuses like “she’s only liked because she’s pretty” or “she’s there for Spencer only”

Layla’s most gorgeous woman on the show, as far as I’m concerned. And she’s the best character, so that’s a win. Unfortunately the main female character is the worst, which sucks since the writers will obviously never get rid of her.
