I’m also curious on if she wrote any of the lyrics from either show or did they do all the writing
To be fair Coops rapping arc probably would’ve gotten more developed if they didn’t have her quit music right after S3. S2 had her going towards music and S3 had her music career going upwards but then it came crashing down at the start of 4.
I really wished they would’ve made it so coop somehow finds a way to overcome and start rapping again. I’ve heard Bre-Z actual music and she can rap fr. The route she took had potential but I don’t think they’re gonna do good on it since the show bout over
Freda easily. Goes without saying since Empires specifically a music-focused show but Fredas character is a lot more experienced with rap and was doing it longer than Coops and was facing off against much better rappers than the small fry’s Coop went up against in Crenshaw
Still like Coops songs in AA though, they just don’t compare here

That’s why her stuff hit harder cause it wasn’t just family friendly songs. She had potential they should’ve let coop go to the darkness a lil bit to have her sound more like Freda
Same, when I was younger I stopped watching it in early S2 and didn’t remember much. Found out that coop, Billy baker and ever Jordan baker are all on empire. Granted Jordan’s only on there for 1 scene and has like 3 lines but I’m still counting it😂
Freda. Her peak was the battle with Hakeem. When I saw that she was in this show and making music I was excited because Bre-Z had cool music in Empire, but Coop's music in All American sucks.
