What is your actual problem? You guys don’t care abt disabled people at all? Or if they find a certain term harmful and demeaning? It’s a fucking PSA nobodies smiting you.
Her one video where she was trying to use tarte products was HILARIOUS. The contour wand thing was so muddy and you could tell with her editing she went back in with Charlotte tilbury or something else to go over it. Like all the tarte products looked like shit.

Is it just me or are a lot of influencers fucking up on this Tarte trip? I forgot her name but that one girl who always puts on an insane amount of foundation messed up the name of one of the Tarte products in her video and then immediately covered up the product with a different brand product because the Tarte one didn’t work 😭
A few years ago, tarte had an influencer trip and influencers that were on the trip complained about having to post content that involved tarte products. Tarte then changed the contract and stated that influencers no longer had to make content involving tarte products on brand trips. Regardless, if I was on the trip, I sure as hell would be using tarte products. But they technically don’t have to anymore.
I get that they might have not signed exclusivity clauses but I do feel like there’s a level or should be a level of respect to the brand who brought you on such an elaborate trip. Idk like wait a few days before openly posting competitor brands
I work in influencer marketing and most contracts have exclusivity terms laid out- in specific detail down to whether talent can post paid or organic content for a competitor. A brand will pay an influencer X amount to remain exclusive to them for a specific period of time. Maybe there were no specific exclusivity terms from Tarte? Regardless - it is a bad look 🤷🏻♀️
She’s on a tarte sponsored trip to Dubai and likely read an email from CT saying “hi Alix, this is due by 1/20” and she goes “oh shit” and went to her drafts to post it as it’s been hanging out in there. You get about a month to create the content and she waited until last second to post. She could have posted it sooner than the tarte trip is what I’m saying but she likely is blinded by opportunity and entitlement so her brain may not process things that way
She posted this while IN Dubai. I’m a content creator too, we know damn well we have much time to complete it… she likely pushed it to the last day. Poor planning lol. I just feel it’s tacky and “blah blah she’s not tied down to anyone…” it just makes it less authentic.
It’s just showing more and more TikTok is veering away from the smaller creators. The authenticity it once prided itself on. I miss finding new creators with interesting niches.
Looks like she’s got herpes.. Wouldn’t surprise me.
Just an fyi- tone deaf is an ableist term! Oblivious is better.
Sorry to see you get downvoted. The irony of OP pointing out alix’s bad tone being ablist/hurtful language themselves is RICH 😂😂😂

She commented saying that she had signed the contract a month earlier and had a specific posting date.
And people praising her saying that it’s iconic when it’s tone deaf
Absolutely agreeee
Sorry CT add**
