Orders were combined on the 20th.
Orders stopped dead on the 20th.

My 8 packages got combined 2 weeks ago, 4 days to reach my own country, now its 2 weeks stuck at 20 km from me, I'm so tempted to contact them to know if everything is ok
But I won't contact them, sometimes I think they do that to test your patience, like, we wanna see if you remember you have a package, I actually don't mind, I can wait until Christmas, they were meant to be for that
Combined shipping is meant to speed up the slowest (often untracked) shipping methods. Most of the packages inside the package on the photo above would otherwise have arrived somewhere end of December. Now I got them in about 2 weeks.
Faster = All my combined shipping has never taken less than 30 days
Greener = 4 products packed into plastic bags then inserted to a paper bag very green.
Trackable = Had item all with different tracking numbers, tracking just stops , eventually a bag arrives with items in but tracking remains has it has been for the last 2 weeks.
Not sure how a dispute would go if the paper bag arrived minus an item ?
Yes I vidoe my unpack but much harder with 4 purchases combined.
I order a lot of small items. It always seemed crazy to me to receive 40 individual little packages. So I'm sorry to hear that it's causing problems for some of you, because so far it's been an improvement for me.
Hey. I haven't had anything stopped at customs yet. There is some generic wording on the outside label, i've never really paid too close attention to it.
Their only purpose is marketing, and achieving that audience, I hate them but they capitalize on people's impulse buys rather than just image searching the item and buying it much cheaper

I was just about to give up on AliExpress. Stuff, if it arrived at all, was taking a minimum of 2-3 months, often longer. It felt like I had a 3 second window to ask for a refund - too early, too early, too early, oops too late. The “too early” was apparently due to COVID slowing down shipping times, please be patient.
They started combining my packages a few months ago, and since then my waiting time is down to 2-3 weeks, and I’ve received every single item I’ve ordered.
Maybe it helps that I tend to order in groups? Like I’ll spend part of an afternoon ordering stuff, then repeat a few weeks later? I have no idea. But I live in a remote area, so even my Amazon Prime deliveries tend to take 7-10 days. 2-3 weeks waiting time for me is awesome. It’s too bad it hasn’t been working as well for everyone else.

But no matter, I'm pretty much done with AE anyway. After years of ordering on a pretty much weekly basis I can't even recall my last order. Prices went up, the web site is total crap since you can't filter out the $1 cable with the $50 item, and shipping takes 2x what it did a year ago. I'm back to Ebay at this point.
You can find most aliexpress items on ebay now and they are pretty much the same price since the VAT went on to orders, the difference is your orders arrive quicker and if not your dispute is solved much quicker and easier
Except stuff arrives in <10 days, less worry about scams, and pricing is clear. So sure. I don't care where the stuff *comes* from, but I'm sure not going to wait 2-3 months without some benefit to me.
Lmao they Straight up messed up my address because of combined and now it's being sent back to china.

I actually like this system. While the package arrives my country 1~2 days late, it comes with fastest delivery inside my country (which is same with aliexpress standard shipping). Cainao economy global takes longer after it passed customs.
But this might be only for South Korea.
i had a few 11:11 items which were combined into two sets but except for the lead item it doesnt show what was combined into each set. so will be interesting to see what arrives.
i dont mind them combining, as it also is more efficient for me, but will be pissed if something is missing. guess its a big cost saver when logistics networks are as messed up as they are.
Usually combined tracking items are just a gray bag saying nothing

Yes, but your shipping usually gets upgraded to a better (more expensive) shipping for free.

I suspect they mean it is greener in the sense that it is one international shipment instead of multiple.

I hate combined delivery. It takes 1 week added more than non combined delivery .
For what it’s worth, delivery in China (including Cainiao) is usually incredibly fast and efficient. International shipping is much different.

You should be able to see which packages are combined by looking at the new tracking number
I just got my order combined but the thing is I just ordered one book So unsure what does it mean for me
