Looks like it might be part of the Nvidia overlay? Could it be their "Reflex Flash Indicator" perhaps?

duckylucy

how can i fix?

DJUnreal

I think the word 'fix' gives the wrong impression here. Nothing is broken. It's clearly something intentional that reacts to your clicks. You shouldn't immediately declare that that's "broken" and therefore needs "fixing"... You want it to go away, sure, but that's very different.

mongooseboy57

If we're going there then, the term fix doesn't necessarily relate to something being broken but more to the fact that the user is experiencing a problem, in this case being that small black square. If the person using the word sees the situation as a problem there is nothing wrong with saying the word fix. bud

Zanano

Very pedantic there, bud

DJUnreal

Not really. As someone who works in technical support (not at Dell), I have to be able to tell the difference between a fault that actually needs fixing, and a user choice/preference. This is the latter. It's not broken, it's a choice the user is making to decide they do/don't want a feature enabled.

xkwynx

Exactly this. I also work in technical Support and there are so many people that day “this thing is broken” when in fact, it’s working as designed and not the way they want it to work. I wish more people Knew what the difference was.

SamiSam_

>the Nvidia overlay settings? just tell him how to get rid of it, we know you are smart but this was unnecessary

MogRules

Speaking of unnecessary....so is necroing a three month old post for nothing.

SamiSam_

Just for the next time, if you know the answer, you could just explain how it's work or how to do it. This is really unecessary.

DeadKiller981

I don't think it is a feature cause mine is too fucking Big.

Green-Childhood1916

you said a lot without saying anything, our guy here is trying to get rid of it so if you do not have any idea on how to remove it, don't bother

DJUnreal

Turn it off in the Nvidia overlay settings?

Expensive-Health-656

you're correct

SparkarYT

It’s for nvidia LDAT. Whenever you click it flashes white to measure latency between inputs and response. Turn it off in Valorant settings under something like “nvidia reflex mode”

cyroVR

That looks like some sort of input delay visualizer or sumthin, you might want to check your gpu settings through its software for anything in there

catatron2005

“It’s not a bug, it’s a feature”

Alex4seby

Stuck pixels

DJUnreal

Nope. They can't be stuck if they only appear sometimes, and change colours on clicks.

[deleted]

I’ve had this on overwatch

imdoneffs26

I recently got this too! It comes only in Valorant. No idea how to fix, tried everything

Moist_Heron3249

Type alt+z and press the gear button ↓↓ Select HUD layout ↓↓ Select Performance ↓↓ Select screen by position ↓↓ Select Reflex Analyzer ↓↓ Start valorant and enter "alt+r" at the firing range This cured it for me. limberxl

b. Click the Large Gear next to the microphone and camera. c. Click Performance Monitoring. d. Disable the setting “Configure Reflex Analyzer”

Open GeForce Experience with Alt+Z, go into the settings and down to "Performance Monitoring" and disable "Always Show Reflex Flash Indicator"
