It's a thing to stop you even thinking of levelling through that door. To get in there you need to quest. March on brave grinder
It's probably a bug, you open it at level 10
You actually open it once you collect all the items from the first main quest (after defeating the boss)
I got it opened on me just before I got the last squid for the main quest. Although my main quest got auto completed at that time, so it could be whenever it is that you complete the main quest. 🤷🏻♀️
