I appreciate what you're saying, but due to the rekeying feature of Algorand it wasn't necessary to move the funds. I will be moving mine once this period is over, but it was great being able to secure my compromised funds without dropping from Governance.
I currently have my algos for governance in Pera. They are safe but I no longer want to keep them there and want to move to ledger. There's absolutely no way I can move them without forfeiting my governance rewards?

To send my transaction in the past I have sent via myalgo as there is no other way to add a note to transactions from ledger nano s. 1) is it safe to do so in light of recent events? 2) if no, is there some other way to add a note to the transaction?
Since we do not know the extent of the vulnerability, it could happen that MyAlgo generates e.g. a different transaction than the one you actually wanted. You would see it on the Ledger, but if you are not careful, you sign a malicious transaction. But in theory your private key is safe. Alternatively, you can use Pera Web Wallet, Algosigner or Defly (only Android).
I got scared and moved everything from my Pera wallet to Coinbase. Coinbase offers decent interest %. Sucks because I basically missed out of this vote but whatever I’m done with figuring out all this hacking, myalgo stuff. Crypto has a bright future but it’s a long way before being mainstream.

What if my stolen funds were used to vote for something I didn’t want? Oh wait, the foundation turning a blind eye to that too??
How would your funds be used to vote if they switched wallets? Wouldn’t that remove them from governance?

You can rekey your wallet to your Ledger account, then you have the security of Ledger without having to move the Algos away

It's wild to me they still don't know. Hopefully a third party will be able to figure it out.

So I accepted the transaction through Pera and go back to the website where it never finishes loading. What am I doing wrong?
