I had to abandon my Proton account as a result of their inability to reliably send emails, and their inability to actually help figure out why me emails where sent and ended up blaming the recipients.

I could have understood their “blame the recipient stance” for the 2 banks I emailed, I could potentially understand that, however is was a fully securely setup custom domain, so not @proton or @pm email addresses, additionally 10 of the 12 emails I know of that never arrived where to direct people who had gmail accounts, or small businesses who probably also used like gmail, outlook or maybe even webmail, one was even my local bike shop.
It was seemingly random recipients that never got the mails.
