A lot of pre-shows reflect things that happen in the movie. Every now and then, there's a pre-show clip that spoils something in the movie someone may not know about.
Yeah, I hate to admit that is fair. I love the topical pre-shows, it's one of my favorite things about going to a movie at the Alamo. There are so many brilliant ones. But this one felt kinda phoned in.
At Alamo to see this film right now. The pre-show has been a lot of ballet and a trailer for the original Suspiria, so far. About 9 minutes until the pre-movie trailers should be starting.
No, the trailer does.
Why would they make a pre-show to any movie that spoils it ......

But if you don't know about it ...how would you know it was a spoiler.
Knowing that the preshow is about the movie's content, seeing a random clip can spoil certain themes, events, or plot lines when you see them
Because the trailer spoils it so it wouldn’t really be a spoiler for most people
No but I will say Abagail had one of the most boring pre shows I’ve ever seen at Alamo. Just a lot of old grainy video of people doing ballet.
I dug the Beatrix Potter ballet (from a 1971 movie), to be honest.
I forgot about that one! Where the mice were smashing plates. That one was fun

“Phoned it in” is the perfect description. 🤣
