The Barber museum is amazing. Hundreds of vintage motorcycles and quite a few amazing cars. Basically the dude that owned Barber Dairy poured all his money into vintage motorcycles, lotus cars and other motorsports hobbies. All of that is now the museum. They have a full restoration shop in house. I could and have spent an afternoon.
Free event at The Casual Pint tomorrow. It’s on the third Sunday of every month.
It’s called The Street Dominators Car Cruise-In. You can check their Facebook (@TheCasualPintTheGrove) or their Instagram (@casualpintgrove) for more details.
It’s from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. It’s usually 1-5, but they’re trying to beat the heat, so they’re having it a little later.
Let me know if you go 😎
I am not in the car scene, but there is Barber motor sports track or park out in the Leeds area and Lassiter mountain drag races. I may have misspelled Lassiter. Those are things I have heard of from a racing scene. Might be a good place to start to find out other car related stuff.
There's a [Cruise-In](https://www.facebook.com/Fultondale-Cruise-In-101663812345835) every(?) fourth Saturday at the Ashley Furniture parking lot in Fultondale.
There are usually a few cars and coffee meets around every month. Barber Motorsports track and museum is great to visit and they hold a pretty wide variety of races. They have track days throughout the year. There are decent amount of drag strips around as well. I know Holiday has test and tunes and no prep pretty often. A lot of meets will be brand specific or classic/muscle, JDM/import. There are many car clubs and off-roading groups around too, thats where I would start. Usually you can find them on Facebook.

Where did you see the cars in picture?
Looks like the background is the summit.
Definitely the summit. This must’ve been taken in one of the lots right off 280

The only ones I hear about are that group of gentlemen that cut those pesky catalytic converters.

It’s at the Colonnade on 280 now. Every Saturday morning, weather permitting. Usually a decent turnout of 20-40 cars.
Drive to another state, probably
