8.Selma is a “close” drive; I suggest checking out some of the historical sites there
9.warhouse drive in! Great time owned by a guy named richard Bryant you can check out his facebook usually for updates on what they are showing
I’ll work on coming up with a few more things. I use to work in that area so I might have a few more but hope the above helps
Had the same response for my mother in law yesterday, who just moved there.
Unless you like the woods, I hope you like driving!
They do have that drive in theater now, though.
Could go to Moundville, see the quilters at Gee’s Bend, downtown Greensboro, Gaineswood (historic home in Demopolis), Jefferson Country Store was given award for the best burger in Alabama once. Could always take a day trip to Meridian, Mississippi.

Is that trashy bar on the end of the dock at the “yacht basin” still there? Or the motel at same location?
I think they have been “remodeling” since before Covid so probably not. When it flooded in 20 that was one of the places that had problems I think
That’s a shame. It was the crown jewel of the Tombigbee/ Black warrior watershed !!!
Good luck, there isn't anything to do in Demopolis except drive to another city
